I only come here when my boyfriend wants to visit his friends’ at work but that’s really it. The food is okay. Nothing I would crave. DONOTGETTHEGREENBEANS. They tastes horrible. They’re not crispy and the green beans are huge and it’s just a sloppy bland mess. But I LOVETHELAVACHOCOLATECAKE!

I have been here numerous times in the past. The food isn’t too bad, considering the prices. Quality of service goes up and down. Once in a while you see waiters/waitresses standing at the bar and talking and laughing. The last two times I was there, there were sudden«cranks» in the background music. We would simply be at the table talking/laughing(but WE were not getting paid for it) and then all of the sudden the music jumps up in volume. Let’s just say, compared to your car radio, you might have the volume on 3, and then all of a sudden you hear a song that you love come on, and you«crank» the volume up to 8. Both times it took place in the mid-afternoon, not at a busy, loud time, not during a football game, if you look around, there didn’t appear to be any birthday party…

I’ve been to this locations several times since it’s close to where I live. With that said, I come here only for convenience. The food is very average. You have to find your staple on the menu, but don’t expect everything to be as good as it looks. The cheese sticks and the hot boneless buffalo wings are the best things I’ve had to far. The all american standard burger is also tasty. The various pasta and chicken entrees are worthless. Service here is like that of some chain restaurants, they seem short staffed and the workers are taking on multiple tasks. This would explain why we are rarely greeted at the door. Sometimes they do not play music and it can be quiet if not there for dinner rush. I would rather go to Chilis or Ruby Tuesdays(RT is much more expensive, but worth it). However, if I am craving the yummy appetizers, going during the ½ price app hours is a great idea.

Applebee’s is a restaurant. They have table, booth and bar seating. The food is relatively inexpensive. The food is relatively tasty. The cuisine is relatively mainstream American and un-original. I had 3 appetizers — wings, tacos, and something else. Tasty.

If you come to Applebee’s expecting average American chain restaurant food, then you won’t leave disappointed. Of the casual American chains(e.g. Chili’s, TGI Fridays), I think I still prefer Ruby Tuesday the best if nothing for their salad bar. This Applebee’s is located just off I-75 exit 263(South 120 Loop, Marietta, Southern Poly). It’s located close to my workplace. I came here several times in the early-to-mid 2000s for lunch with coworkers. In the last 5 – 8 years, I’ve visited about twice. The food has always struck me as mediocre and the service a bit slow. I called it quits for several years on this particular location when I ordered a salad and proceeded to unknowingly bite into a heavy-duty staple. It looked like the kind of staple used to seal large shipping boxes shut. At the time(this was years ago), I told the manager and he comped my meal. He walked back to the kitchen, industrial-sized staple in hand, dumbfounded as to how the staple ended up in my salad. I’m still curious to this day. On a later return to the restaurant for lunch, I noticed some improvements. The food was about the same, but the interior of the restaurant had been touched up and the service time seemed to improve. To fit with the neighborhood theme of the business, certain walls were decorated to support local high schools, Marietta and Walton. Applebee’s menu has a lot to offer. It’s mostly mainstream American fare. Traditional stuff, no surprises. Soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, ribs, wings, chicken, seafood, pasta, etc. Their storefront sign sometimes boasts the restaurant’s over 200 choices. There are specials like the TV-advertised«2 for $ 20» deal: one appetizers and two entrees for $ 20(or more). On my last visit, a coworker and I both ordered off the lunch combo menu. The lunch combo menu allows you to mix and match various smaller-sized portions of their regular entrees for anywhere from $ 6.99 to $ 8.99 per meal. I went with the Fiesta Chicken Chopped Salad(our server told us that this was one of their most popular salads) and the 4-Cheese Mac and Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders. My coworker ordered the Caesar Salad and Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders. The Fiesta Salad was substantially bigger and more«complex» than the Caesar Salad. It had multicolored, crispy tortilla strips(red, purple, yellow), chopped grilled chicken, corn, red onion, and black beans. I’m not sure what kind of dressing, but it wasn’t bad. I wasn’t crazy about the salad and could have done without the tortilla strips. Overall, the salad was sufficiently fresh and colorful. The Caesar was simple and, well, a Caesar. Didn’t look bad, but not a whole lot of lettuce. I enjoyed the Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders, though they were small. If you really want chicken tenders, you should go to the Zaxby’s close-by on Lower Roswell Rd. While I liked the honey-pepper seasoning, my coworker said he wasn’t a fan. On his plate, the tenders were served atop a bed of fries. He made a good point by showing me his fries and how soaked and soggy they had become from all the honey-pepper sauce. One problem I had with my entrée was it didn’t come as advertised. The menu said«4-Cheese Mac and Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders»(note the letter«s» at the end of «tenders»). I only received one chicken tender with my mac and cheese. Disappointing. The mac and cheese itself was satisfactory. Flavor was OK, but the dish seemed to be excessively mushy. I took advantage of adding a Brownie Bite to my lunch combo for only $ 1 extra. The Brownie Bite consisted of a small dessert plate containing about half a brownie and a scoop of vanilla ice cream with some hot fudge on top. Worth it. I liked our server, Michelle B. She was friendly and attentive. During a moderately busy lunch hour, the dishes arrived faster than expected. This Applebee’s is located at the corner of South Marietta Parkway(South 120 Loop) and Franklin Rd. The restaurant parking lot can only be accessed via Franklin.

I didn’t expect a prime cut of meat, but this was the toughest steak I ever tried to eat. Could have strung a long bow with the sinue and hunted down a more tender piece of meat.

Typical Applebee’s. Waiter was friendly and food was fast. One of the few places with decent food after 11pm, which is nice after getting out of a late night sporting event. Convenient to I-75.

I don’t usually post reviews, but felt this one deserved it. My car broke down and I went inside this Applebee’s to cool off. They were extremely helpful and considerate. They gave me a booth with a window so I could watch for my ride and they gave me free sweet tea for the 30 minutes I was inside. All the servers asked me what they could do to help, and made everything a lot less stressful. I didn’t eat anything, but the service was great!

I am always pleased at this applebee’s!!! My fiancé and I always go after 10pm for their ½ price apps and delicious cocktails! I got the white peach sangria, its super awesome! It gets you right and has a great taste! Together we ordered Boneless buffalo wings, wonton tacos and spinach and artichoke dip. It was amazing! Hot, fast, and yummy! What else could I ask for? I will definitely be back, hay maybe tomorrow! :)

I had been to this restaurant before and had a pretty good experience. I went there tonight, and stood at the door for two minutes and was not even acknowledged, much less seated. I turned around and walked out. I called and spoke to the manager after waiting on hold, and he did not seem very concerned. I will not be back.

This used to be a decent Applebee’s but honestly their service and drinks have gone downhill and their portion sizes are completely inconsistent. I regularly get the pub pretzels and usually get 4. For some reason I only received two today. The pasta was bland. My long island was pretty much non-alcoholic. The music was loud old and obnoxious country that numerous people complained about while I was there.

At this location, Curb side to go means you have to pick up your food at the bar. It’s pretty clear they just don’t care.

This is my first fist but second time trying this location. I’m at a point now where Applebee’s is going to be X-Out of being a option for me. The food was straight up terrible. I ordered a lunch basket and it was cold. It was pointless to send it back, so I simply made it work. How do you have a lunch feature on your outside board and the food comes out cold? As for the service, we sat in the bar area, our server was the bartender and she did a really good job. She brought refills and took away empty plates really quickly. This is it a place I would recommend.

So since yesterday was my first time at Applebee’s, I’m gonna have to saw I was a bit concerned about service and food quality, etc. I was impressed! We went around 3pm, so it wasn’t bad. Our server was very very nice and explained everything in the menu. We got the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer, which was delish! I got the half rack baby back ribs which comes with fries and coleslaw. Everything was delicious and service was great! I’d definitely come back!

Well, I guess most of us don’t expect much from these kinds of places anymore. But this Applebee’s location hit a new low today. First off, it’s a TERRIBLE sign when you have to send a Diet Coke back and get water instead because the Diet Coke is mixed so poorly it’s light brown in color and tastes like weak sugar water. Come on people! I learned how to properly mix the fountain drink tanks when I was 19 years old and worked at Putt Putt! This is just sad. As others have pointed out, this location is a bit slow, so the customer services is extremely casual. I didn’t really mind that too much. But they really could pick up the pace a bit. If I was in a hurry, their lackadaisical attitude would tick me off. Now, let’s talk about the new signature GREASE burgers. I keep making the same mistake. I’m seduced by the pretty pictures of highly stylized food on TV and in print. I was craving a burger, so off I went to try an All-In Burger. In addition to the grease pouring off the thing, I can confirm that the meat has no flavor at all. The bun is too thick and it could just use some seasoning or something to set it off and make it actually worth ten bucks. The fries were decent. A bit on the salty side, but I like ‘em like that. If you don’t like a lot of salt, you’d probably best stay away from them. I really have to stop trying all of these other, more expensive burgers and stick with what I love, the best burger in Atlanta, at the decidedly unpretentious and almost always perfect US Café. It never disappoints.

Have been back a couple times since the last review. Today, I just grabbed a strawberry lemonade drink with queso blanco(white cheese) and chips. It was pretty good, as it always is when I’ve gotten it. Our waitress was nice– I think her name was Amanda? Will stop by again if I’m in the area.

The cheesy corn was the worst thing I’ve ever had there. The chips for our appetizer were stale. Seems to be no quality control onsite. The baked potato was a rock. Will be the last $ 40 I ever spend at an Applebees.
