If you enjoy high-​pressure sales tactics based on fear, this is the company you should call. Sales personnel are very slick and well-​rehearsed and will prey on your tendency to trust them as experts. You WILL be oversold with products and services that you don’t need. Do they deliver on what you pay for? I don’t know. I was too turned off by their up-​sell song and dance to allow them to work on my house. Beware.

I have been trying since before Christmas to schedule an appointment and get a quote to fix my basement. I have called approximately 4 times with unsatisfactory results. The first call the return call referred me to someone to fix the mold problem I have but not to fix the leak causing the mold problem. The second return call I got the caller at Aqua Guard tried to transfer me to someone else in their company who couldn’t take my call and didn’t call me back. The third message I left I got a return phone call several days later and when I called back again I haven’t heard from anybody. I’m really frustrated and wondering why I keep giving this company a chance when their customer service is really lacking!

I just had a sump pump installed by Brian Martin. Let me tell you, he was great, went above and beyond, happily answered all my questions, explained to me what he was going to do and once the job was finished he walked me through the installation. I could not be happier since the salesman, Matt Volk was not as helpful. I had as many questions for him, often his answers did not seem adequate enough to answer my question (thanks to Brian who was patient and informative). Matt did not schedule the electrician nor he process the 20% deposit I submitted prior to installation day. Had it not been because of the less than professional salesman and the fact that now I must take another day off from work to have the electrician finish the job, this would be a five star review. As it is, it is a 3.5.

Cody and Ian were friendly, on time, and explained the process. Very happy with the results as well.

I am a real estate agent in the Metro Atlanta area. AquaGuard has been my go-​to waterproofing company for many years. Not only because they have a great reputation, but also because they are the most recognized name. They have always been very responsive and have helped both Buyers and Sellers get their issues resolved. Recently, Derek Vissering did a great job with a small water intrusion problem at one of my listings. Yes, it took a couple of weeks for them to get to the job. But once they got there, Derek was efficient, friendly, and polite. I will continue to use AquaGuard for my professional and personal needs.

Brian McMaster and his team did a great job getting our basement garage fixed and stayed until 8pm on Friday night to make sure it was finished and working. Great job.

If I could give zero stars I would but I guess three years later the equipment is working so there’s the one star.
I have SO much to say that the little I can will not convey my advice to run not walk away from this company
I called and explained we were moving into new house and I needed the basement evaluated because I suffer from a medical condition where mold, standing water etc is not good. Interested in air filter/​dehumidifier and flooring. Guy who came touted company and himself (years as a foundation guy). Ok so far. Then home inspector came and found crack in foundation he had just examined and not pointed out. He offered nothing to conversation. Prices given. Discussion of required timeframe agrreed to. Went back to Maryland.

Next call, when ripping out flooring «discovered» water damage … My hell began. From that moment on I was treated like a woman from the ’70’s trying to buy a car without her husband. Owner would disparage everything his employees would tell me, like I «must have «misunderstood. As a partner in a law firm and litigator. It is my job Not to misunderstand, assume, etc and I take notes. Summary: not done on time. All furniture moved in upstairs because not finished in time, mess left, new deck gauged when moving items, wall put back up with electric line still disconnected, loss of 6 power outlets, second contract also tried to sneak in higher price, after no one put back my walls and I called, told that was the sub contractors job and I had to call them (like I was an idiot). Didn’t seem to «get» that I hired THEM not their subcontractor and it was their responsibility to put back walls.
This summary doesn’t begin to share the million other things that were said or done (like their employee leaving a huge dump in my toilet unflushed).

Called the company told them I needed an estimate for water coming into crawl space from around the water pipes and was told they did not perform that kind of work, dont waste your time here.

So far, so good! Chuck and his team came out yesterday and sealed up a basement that has leaked for the past 25 years. They were prompt, courteous and great to work with!
Their work ethic was great! Chuck and his team had no problem explaining every step of the process and made sure I understood all the work they were doing.
I’d certainly recommend them to anyone that asks. Thanks!
So, you might ask… Why the «So far, so good» comment? Well, to be honest, it has not rained yet since the install. Once I see a big old school down pour and no leaks, then this five star rating is permanent! :)

Don’t waste your time. Spend most of their time selling you something you don’t need.

This company has an over inflated sense of self. They do not listen to the customer. The man coming to do the assessment showed up an hour and a half late and then proceeded to tell me how the company has won many awards instead of just getting down to business. I specifically asked for one area to be addressed and was ignored and given a full assessment of everything we should do to make sure the house is extra protected. We are moving. I made this clear during three conversations. In addition he told me that they are «so great that they are booked out 2 plus months». DON“T waste your time. GO with a company that is small and really customer focused not just professional on the surface!

Over 10 years ago they installed a drain system and repaired a crack in the wall. both repairs were good and held up over the years. The service was excellent. It must have prevented expensive repairs later.
