Beads by Design

I have been to Beads by Design 2 times so far, each time I have had excellent service and great suggestions since I did not know what I was doing. I love the choices and wish I had time to make several more (necklaces for my friends) which I will do one day soon. I have also told many of my friends since I was so impressed

I’m not surprised I’m the first reviewer. I would give them no stars if i could. The store is dusty, merchandise is scant, and the selection is poor, unless you like lampwork beads and making your own lampwork beads. The owner seems to focus on this. It seems they have leftover beads that they have thrown into containers. The owner was not helpful. Beads were not marked with a brand or color, so if you needed to shop elsewhere for beads, you wouldn’t know what brand or color to ask for. I told the owner (who spent her time cleaning up the store while I was there) that I lived in Buckhead and had come all the way up to her store. I asked her (while spending $ 75) if she knew any other bead stores in the area since I was already out there. She said no, she didn’t know of any other stores in the area. There is one less than a mile from her call Bead Dreams. That store owner said she knows about his store and refers people there. If you are that insecure about your business, then you shouldn’t even be in business. I do NOT recommend this bead shop.
