I love the food, the staff are friendly, and they are alwayys willing to make substitutions when requested(like no onion or avacado) I order take-out from them at least once a week, and I would like to see faster service from that area.

THEGORDITASOFMYDREAMS! Not only is the waitress super cute and friendly, the service was really quick! It was early on a Sunday when I went for brunch and she handled everyone with a cool finesse. My family got the menudo and it tasted divine! I got one of each gordita and I cannot stress the authenticity and great unique taste behind each one. Favorite hands down was the gordita de chicharron :)

Authentic Mexican food. Check. Authentic candy from Mexico. Check. Bottled Mexican coke? Check. I’m pretty picky when it comes to shopping for good meats to cook so when I came into this place, it was fantastic. Weekends are the best because of their specials for food. Delish.

First off — Tacos al Pastor is PORK not beef, and it’s not fried either. Brito’s is an awesome place! No they don’t have many American things, but is IS a MEXICAN place after all. Their produce is fresh(mostly — when stuff is getting a bit past it’s prime they put them in ‘platas’ — big wrapped plates — and mark them down to $ 1). Their meat counter is one of the best you’ll find anywhere. Prices are generally half of what the Publix across the street charges, and usually better quality. Be warned though — Brush up your elementary Spanish before you go. Some employees speak English, but most do not. I shop there 3 – 4 times a week and I’m one of the few non-Latinos that go in there. Doesn’t matter, they’re always friendly. And the Taqueria is excellent as well. They serve Mexican food, not the Americanized garbage you get at most ‘Mexican’ restaurants.

I went in here with my friend the other day to check it out. I was really hungry for some authentic mexican tacos, however this place was a total let down. The grocery store itself is extremely tiny and doesn’t offer much of a selection, while the restaurant that is attached to it is not much better. I ordered two tacos al pastor(fried beef), which my friend said traditionally comes with pineapple, onion, tomatoes, and cilantro. When the tacos came out they didn’t have anything on them, but our waitress referred us to the«salsa bar» which not only didn’t have traditional tomato based salsa, but also didn’t have any pineapple or tomatoes. The tacos were only $ 1.50 each, but still they weren’t what I was excepting. Also our service was horrible. The waitress never came to check on us after she brought our food, and we had to go get her in order to check out because she was sitting in a booth talking to her boyfriend. I will definitely not be coming back here for groceries or for tacos. I definitely would not recommend this place.
