5-stars for the EGGANDHAMHOTCAKE. Essentially it’s a pancake with chopped ham mixed in and an over-easy egg hidden INSIDE of it. Whattt? So good, especially since it’s $ 3.50.

This place has a new owner. Its no where near as good as it was. It took almost an hour to get our food and it wasn’t near the quality to has been. Half the menu was blacked out and what was left was of low quality. Its sad to see a town favorite fall so far. I will say this the servers are great. This review is from just one visit

Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Only issue was they only accept cash, it’s 2015 that is unacceptable.

A tucked away little gem. Best breakfast on our four state road trip at a most reasonable price. Bring cash-no credit or debit.

Worst meal I have had in years. Chicken basket($ 6.50) was a joke. A few pieces of formerly frozen boneless chicken strips. Tasteless. Mealy. Very poor quality. French Fries were also not good. I am not normally this negative but my meal deserves these comments. Go to McDonalds the Chicken Nuggets are better tasting. They DONOT accept credit cards. Cash ONLY

Best proper breakfast in Marietta. Plus this crazy lady works there, and she’s hilarious. Go on a Sunday during the Steeler’s game and watch the side show ensue. The food is seriously excellent. Love this spot.

Hit the spot! I love trying local places rather than chain restaurants when traveling. The Busy Bee had a good breakfast at a good price. Glad we stopped!

Have lived in Marietta area for 25 yrs and this place has the best and most inexpensive breakfast in town. The veggie omelet is one of my favs! Sometimes gets a lil crowded but worth it if you can find a seat.

This small, cozy 49 seater is located in the Harmar District right along the water and is easily accessible from downtown by the pedestrian-only Harmar Rail-Trail Muskigum River Bridge or of course the Putnam Street Bridge. You could easily walk right by it for it only has a small sign hanging above the front door of what looks like an average two-story along the street. Overall there aren’t many choices downtown for breakfast or brunch, especially on a Sunday. Busy Bee’s breakfast menu features many combo plates and a la cart sides. My choice, the Busy Bee Big Breakfast, featured two perfectly cooked over-easy eggs, a hand-patted sausage patty, two stripes of bacon, two slices of ham, hash browns and a biscuit with their sausage gravy-all for $ 8 and change. The back of the breakfast menu featured various pancakes and waffles. I sampled a blueberry pancake-full of berries. Wall boards featured breakfast and lunch specials, including a walnut pie for dessert. Sadly I did not no indulge-no room. Afterwards you can waddle out and visit the antique shops or Whipple’s Whimsical Toys– a toy store inside a train. All-in-all an interesting little neck of the woods worthy of exploring. ***CASHONLY***

As a visitor from Columbus, I was impressed by this diner. The food was good, the service very friendly and the atmosphere perfect. We went for lunch, and I had the ruben, and it was really great. Really. One of the best rubens in my life. Oh, I also had the sweet potato fries, and they were served with a sweetened mayo dipping sauce that was delightful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. It is small but cosy. Overall, our prices meal was a bit pricey, since I had to order my side separate from the sandwich. For the two of us, it was $ 19 before tip.

The Busy Bee is THE diner experience in Marietta. Great breakfast. Haven’t been for lunch, yet. Slightly cramped, so I wouldn’t recommend it for groups. Fast, friendly wait staff.

Anyone just passing buy would miss this gem, but it’s worth looking out for. A small location, this local favorite is a inexpensive place to find great diner food. We have ventured to the Busy Bee for breakfast and lunch and you’ll be pleased with the choices. Don’t forget to try the pie!

This is a great place for breakfast. Any place you can order grits is good in my book! Definitely diner food and the place to go when you are craving waffle house-style food. Very quaint and not a huge amount of seating, but you could go with your immediate family or a group of 5 or so and find a place to sit. Not too expensive either. It is close to the river, too… so once you are done you can walk off all the bacon you just ate!
