First off, I like the pizza. Second, until tonight pizza is all I’ve ever had at Cappozzi’s. Tonight I thought I try something other than pizza and the Chicken and Ranch Hero struck my eye. Love chicken. Check! Love ranch. Check! Love mozzarella. Check! How could I go wrong? The hero was disgusting. The little bit of chicken on the sub was pounded down and rubbery as heck(almost like veil). I think they put a half bottle of ranch on it(waaaaay too much). And it was extremely greasy! I ate half of it and tossed the other half… and I NEVER waste food. I’ll still stop in for a slice here or there but no more hero’s for me.

Absolute best pizza I have ever eaten in Georgia. I have lived here 23 years by the way. This is now my exclusive spot. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. Closest to NY style I’ve had as well.

Ripped off! They added a big tip on a takeout after I left. I mentioned this to a co-worker, and he said they did it to him, too. The charge showed up way too big. Just plain THIEVES. VISA is on to them now.

We love eating here! We have to compromise between the yummy garlic knots or the delicious garlic bread with cheese. The grandpa pizza is my most favorite, but some pepperoni dipped in ranch is always good too! Their salads are giant, definitely big enough to share, and be sure to get the homemade creamy garlic dressing, SOGOOD! The girls in the front are always sweet, but the lunch time guys are my favorite. You have to try the eggplant maryann, I didn’t like eggplant before I tried it here, and it’s always part of our order now. The desserts are pretty tasty, my favorite so far has been the pumpkin cheesecake. Can’t wait to go back soon!

Have eaten here on a few occasions and the pizza is very good and consistent. Tried calling twice tonight to place a to-go order and the phone just rang and rang and rang. No one answered and website indicated that they were open on Sunday around 6-pm when I called, so I went with LaBella’s Pizzeria(which is awesome for those who haven’t had it).

Stopped by this place last night for dinner because of all of the great Unilocal reviews that we had seen. We were looking for a real NY style pizza place close to the house and let me tell you, this place does not disappoint! The pizza is fairly priced and tastes so good but what really blew me away were the appetizers. My fiancé got the garlic knots and I had a caesar salad. First, the knots… OMG! they came out steaming fresh and crisp on the outside but still soft on the inside and had the perfect blend of garlic and herbs. I didn’t end up eating all of my pizza because I couldn’t stop eating luke’s garlic knots! By far, the best I have ever had. And, that’s saying something because I used to work at an upscale Italian restaurant and have loved Italian food since I was very young. The caesar salad was absolutely delicious as well. The dressing was perfect, not too much but just enough to get some on every piece of lettuce. It came with fresh parmagiana cheese that was cut into big, long, rectangular slices and homemade croutons that melt in your mouth! I would go back just for the salad and knots! We are so glad that we tried something new, now if we could only convince them to deliver to our house! lol

Nothing standout but nothing to complain about. The lasagna and grandpa’s pie pizza were both tasty. I’d prefer a bit more marinara in my lasagna but that’s just a personal preference. The garlic knots were good as well. Service was good and the prices were reasonable. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here(or many pizza joints for that matter) but if you’re in the area and looking for good pizza this place is a good option.

Best calzones in the area. The pizza is good, don’t get me wrong, but the calzones are absolutely a must try. The garlic knots are a great addition to any meal.

No taste and ladies working the front are pretty rude. My pizza was no where close to NY style. Maybe an off night? Called in an order, asked a question, and was rudely told to hang on before finishing my sentence. Told they don’t have anything but a 16 inch pie, although I saw that they have a 10 inch gluten free once there — strike one Went to pick the pizza up and was ignored for a while, despite being pleasant and trying to make eye contact. Asked a lady about my pizza and she walked off. Apparently, not her job. The lady who rang me up acted like I annoyed her and barely spoke. — strike 2 Got home to try the pizza. It looks like a dominoes pie and is far more bland than that — strike 3 Not a fan and won’t be back. I’ll stick to Rosas or try something else

Been eating here since we moved back into the area over six years ago. The food is always good, but sometimes limited(garlic knots, Sicilian). My favorite menu item other than pizza is the hot chicken bacon ranch hero. I add mushrooms to it and it is amazing! Eat there, carry out or delivery, it’s nice to have options! Good location too, if you shop at Kroger. I’ve placed an order for carry out and got my grocery shopping done.

Ate here last night for the first time(dined-in) and was pretty impressed! Garlic knots were amazing and pizza was huge and tasty. My only complaint would be for them to use a little less oregano on the pizza but it still tasted really good even with that. Very affordable and kid-friendly. Will definitely eat here again.

Been coming here for many, many, many years. Not so much recently since I’ve moved away from the area but this place is still a favorite. The staff is courteous and welcoming. The pizza is always tasty and the slices are huge. They also recently renovated so it looks pretty nice inside. If you’re looking for good pizza, I definitely recommended this location. 5 out of 5

It’s a nice little NY style place and the food is great. Anytime you’re in a mood for nice pizza. I do not like getting pizza by slice because normally toppings gets separated from the cheese and base but this place does a little better job. Always friendly staff and good prompt service!

We love this neighborhood gem! The NY style pizza is just right. Our favorite is the Vegetable Pie. Also, love the Garlic Knots and Baked Ziti. Every pasta dish we have tried has been delicious. The servers are always so friendly and willing to please. Sometimes we like to take the pizza to-go as well. Yummm!!! Great food and great service.

Hmm… We were craving some Italian and decided to try this local little shop. The garlic knots were great — covered in just enough butter and parmesan cheese, cooked just right. $ 6 for 12 knots. For dinner, I ordered the Eggplant Rollatini which has to be the thinnest slice of eggplant on the planet. They slice the eggplant, batter and fry it and then use it like a lasagna noodle to hold ricotta, spinach and sundried tomatoes. I really thought the eggplant tasted more like a rubbery noodle. Very disappointing. If you are going to use the word eggplant in the item name, you should use some decent eggplant slices. Also surprising that a $ 11 dish doesn’t even include a side salad. Those are all extra. As much as I try to avoid the big chains and like to support the small businesses, I could have gotten a decent eggplant dish, with salad and breadstick at OG for the same price. Probably tasted a whole lot better too.

We’ve been to Capozzi’s several dozen times over the last couple of years. The food is always extremely tasty but the service is often hit-or-miss. It’s probably the best place in the area to go grab a cheap slice or two at any given time during the day. The pizza is superb to boot, so that helps matters. We have tried several of the pasta dishes and a few sandwiches as well, and have been pleased every single time. Their alfredo sauce is the bee’s knees. On the service front, the waitstaff is generally high school age girls who vary in their efficacy pretty wildly. I can say the last time we visited, our waitress was a marked improvement and hope that means the service is on an upswing. Overall a great place to grab a bite for lunch or dinner!

This is a great place for pizza and other Italian foods. Their baked ziti and garlic bread are especially delicious also. The wait staff are all very friendly and quite accommodating. Take it from a long ago New Yorker, this place is well worth it. Yummy!!!

I set myself up for disappointment, as slices can rarely satisfy in the way that a whole freshly baked pizza will. It’s still pizza so when it’s bad it still good. However, this pizza joint is just not for me, and I probably won’t be back. I found the sauce a bit too sweet for my tastes. Also, the thick crust pizza does not work well as a slice, as it toasted up during the re-baking process, and there’s not quite enough up top to balance out the doughiness — it felt more like a big bruschetta than pizza.

Stopped here on a rainy day to grab a stromboli. It’s your basic pizza by the slice kinda place, with friendly counter service. The stromboli was good, but not the best. I’d probably stop here again if I was hungry and in the area.
