Service with a snarl– The girl who waited on me, today, was one of the rudest, ever. No eye contact, no thank you, and made me feel like I was bothering her. The only problem is that the receipt, at this store, always says«Kelvin» as the server, so you can’t pinpoint the rude employee. And these employees think that they deserve $ 15.00 an hour?

My food was very good… but the service was enough to make me question going back. The girl at the window didn’t even greet me– she just sort of looked in our direction until we started ordering. Not a single smile in the whole kitchen from what I could see, and one thing that really unnerved me was that I could see several of the employees’ personal items(cell phones, purses, etc.) scattered around the kitchen. Gross! Do you know how dirty purses are? When it was time to get our order, she just sort of shoved our food at us and walked away– weird service. It’s very inexpensive, they run coupons often, and it’s near my apartment, so I may be back, but not without a very good coupon and a boatload of desperation.

I don’t care what anyone says, this place is my crack. When you’re ready for a cheat day, thus is the place to go. They might be a little cold on the greeting, but the food is always delicious and hot!

Decent food… relatively fast service… good value. Employees are just gross and uncaring zombies. Do us a favor and say hello, please, thank you, you are welcome. … not just ‘Take Yo Orda”

Service is really lackluster. Staff was kind of rude and got my order wrong. 3 hotdogs and cheese fries is pretty simple, somehow they managed to douse the hot dogs in mustard and ketchup even though I asked for ketchup on the side. Also they do not answer their phones. I will not be going back. As I left I spotted a chick fil a on the side! !! Would have been better off

I come to this checkers randomly, usually late at night… and just for something to snack on when I need greasy, salty, munchy, junk food-ness… for when my mind is about to overload… But everytime I come here i’m like… why do I keep coming back… The service sure isn’t something that keeps me coming back… And they have quite the surly cashiers at the window… but the worse their attitude is, the nicer I am and I laugh… I laugh because their poor service is funny… Don’t like your job quit… The food is also not something that keeps me coming back… because Checkers food can be like playing Russian roulette… one trip you have decent food, nothing over cooked or cold or rubbery, no bullet in the brain… another trip BAM brains everywhere… you’re wondering what mystery food did they pull out the bottom of the frying… and is the oil they’re fryin it in circa 2012… I think what keeps me coming back… unfortunately, is the fact that they’re open super late and on my side of town… If I lived in the city I’m sure there are much better choices for late night eats… and heck I could even go to the Marietta diner, but being able to go through the drive thru and not having to walk in anywhere is a deal breaker… Overall this isn’t the best Checkers… it isn’t the worse either but this location is in need of someone who can fake the nice late at night and will open their mouth to interact with customers. They also need to have consistent cooking of the food… Don’t burn it one day… Undercook it the next… and then it’s just right on the third visit… Because I just don’t want to have to choose between playing Russian roulette and eating junkfood… but either way this Checkers is definitely a meh.

Dirty. Rude. Blugh. One sauce for an enormo chicken box meant for at least two people? I would never end up here sober.

Look the only thing I have to complain about was the speed it does take a bit but the wait is worth it the food is great and best part is there open until like 4 am so you can always go get something to eat plus the employes are quite friendly for the most part

The worst $ 8.25 I ever spent!!! I don’t know why I do this to myself, I drag myself back out of the house at the last minute to grab the kid something to eat every other friday. I refuse to even boil water let along cook anything on a Friday. Lol My son love checkers chill cheese hotdogs so he asked to stop by while we were out looking for a late night pizza spot. I was happy he wanted to just grab something and return home; we stopped and I order the boatload of shrimp box w/the buffalo sauce on the side(should have been $ 2.00), a chilli cheese hotdog($ 1.99)and two 32oz Tea’s($ 2.00)… I was charged for an order of buffalo shrimps(sauce on the shrimp), no box & no fries… I let her know after paying, that I order the box and the sauce on the side. She changed out my shrimp, but still no fries. She handed me my beverages with tea dripping from both cups and acted as if I said something wrong when I asked her for a napkin to clean the cups up. I didn’t feel like saying another word to her, I was ready to just get home. So I took what I had and left. After arriving home I started eating what should have been fried shrimp, except there was no shrimp, just fried batter-that had a slightly burnt taste to it. I became angry, but I refuse to drive back over that way. I understand when going to a chain fast food spot, not to really expect the bells and whistles… But gosh, I at least expect to pay for what I ask for and not what you decided to charge me for. Bad service & bad food. Do Better!

Checkers is drive-thru fast food. It doesn’t have indoor seating like McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, etc. Many Checkers do offer outdoor seating, but I really wouldn’t recommend eating there. This Checkers is located near the intersection of Cobb Parkway and Roswell Road. The main entrance is located on Cobb Parkway, but you can also enter from the back via Roswell Road. This is the preferred access point as it’s less busy and congested, particularly when exiting the premises. That’s one advantage of this location. This Checkers looks a bit old and worn. It’s evident from the sign to the building to the drive-thru menus. The service is fast and speedy, though. I think the staff here prides themselves on this. It’s probably one of the fastest fast food joints I’ve encountered. I dropped by during one of my lunch breaks and got 2 chili dogs and«value» fries for less than $ 5, tax included. What a good deal. No wonder why America has a heart disease/obesity problem. I did not feel better after eating this meal. The chili dogs here are small. Check out my photos to see what I’m talking about. They felt quite puny and flimsy and really didn’t look presentable. They were solely meant to be eaten. Fast. The chili dogs came topped with chili(duh) and a bit of chopped red onion. That’s it. Checkers fries are among the greasiest, if not *the* greasiest, of the fast food chains. In fact, when the employee handed me my bag of food, it already had tons of spotted grease stains. Yum! Like most Checkers, this one has a double drive-thru and two walk-up windows. Unless you have a passenger with you in the car, you’ll probably want to avoid the drive-thru on the left, unless you don’t mind reaching over your passenger seat for payment and meal retrieval. You’ll probably have to unbuckle your seat belt too.

I give this 4 stars because of their Big Buford cheeseburger. The best darned burger I’ve ever eaten. I’m still amazed to have found such a succulent cheeseburger in a drive-in only fast food place. I’m just sorry Rally’s, close to where I am now, doesn’t measure up. Odd that, since it’s the same ownership. The counter help is ok. They’ve always been polite, or at least not outright rude, so that’s all I care about. Their seasoned fries are good too. And their coca-cola formulation … syrup to carbon dioxide ratio, is excellent. I loved their cokes. Although I don’t indulge in soft drinks much anymore. One interesting sidebar: The highest profile landmark anyplace can have, is the Big Chicken, directly across Roswell Rd. from this Checker’s. The Big Chicken was always fun to watch, that chicken beak opening and closing, plus the eyes of the chicken always rolling around.

Like all fast food joints this place can be hit or miss. Some employees are super friendly… others… not so much. Decent burgers for a buck keep this place at a three star. Love the $ 1 Mushroom Swiss burgers
