Best BBQ in the Upstate. We live an hour away and travel to eat here every month or so. The menu is unique and always fresh. We have tried most menu items and have found nothing that wasn’t great. * A note to the owner. you need better signage and advertisement, your location requires this. We wish you much success and look forward to eating your food for years to come.

This place is awesome. Been for lunch, Sunday brunch, and breakfast buffet. All of it has been delicious. The cinnamon rolls on the breakfast buffet are to die for, and the fried chicken on Sunday is fantastic. I do wish the Sunday buffet had bbq and the breakfast buffet had grits. I think we’ve tried everything and it’s all been great, but I can’t stay away from the catfish and grits. The grits alone are worth eating here. Make sure you go for rib day too!

Wow! The food is soo good and the customer service… amazing! The fried chicken is so crispy yet juicy and tender, and the sides are down home yummyness. I have never found a cream corn at a restaurant that tastes like grandma’s until now! The BBQ is so good that you really don’t even need a sauce. Daniel’s Briar Patch is a MUST try and keep returning restaurant… and the amazing thing is… they are just getting started!

I have had dinner and the Sunday buffet at Daniel’s Briarpatch. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is very comfortable. It’s good for groups and kids too. The bbq is the way to go and the Sunday buffet was quite good. I did not expect it to be marvelous but it was thoroughly good and exceeded my expectations. Fried chicken, smoked turkey and a nice ham. Plus healthy veg and fresh fruit. The server was very fast with tea refills too. Would recommend.

What kind of creative food genius does it take to transform the lowly pork rind into a fantastical gourmet experience? These guys do just that! The best pork rinds I have ever put in mouth are made here. The evening menu focus is on all things smoked-pork, chicken, beef, fish, even vegetables. I tried the ribs and my husband got the chopped pork. Our meats and sides were all delicious. Service was excellent. We’ll be back!

Just had the ribs that they prepare on Saturdays with their mac & cheese and cole slaw. It was awesome! Glad to have a great restaurant in Marietta, SC!

This might just be the plate of food that’s going to change the foodscape of Marietta, South Carolina. There are edgier items on the menu like Shrimp and Grits, Catfish Tacos, and a «The Edge» Cuban Sandwich, but Chef Daniel Dobbs is keeping it real to the local palate with house fried pork rinds, fried chicken, and daily meat-and-three specials. Even the every day items are a little bit of extraordinary. The mac-n-cheese got my attention and Dobbs spends a lot of time on his scratch made Vinegar, Mustard and Bourbon Molasses BBQ sauces. I pulled a little pork out of my delicious Cuban to sample all three. On Saturday they throw ribs on the smoker, and on Sundays, lay out a buffet spread for the church crowd. You can also stop in daily for breakfast. We’re not talking high-end organic fare, here. Dobbs sources a good bit of his food from Beechwood Farm, just around the corner, and is getting meat from Vaughn Meat Packing and Gusto in Greer. This is down home grub with a dash of craft brew-pub fare. A back room is available for private parties, and there are horseshoe pits in case you want to take your party outside.
