I dropped items off a few weeks ago without a problem. Since then, I have come two other times to drop off a car load full of items and no one is there. On the windows are hand made signs saying not to drop of things when no one is there. Why are they closed to much. I’ll go somewhere else from now on. A waste of time.

Beware of the electronic items. They are often junk that have not been tested. Remember, the no refund policy.

This place sucks. They are supposed to have different deals on different days depending on the color of the tag on the clothes. I’ve been there like 7 – 8 times on different days. Remarkably they NEVER have any of the sale items for those days. They always say.” you have to come early” or «you just missed it:. And they aren’t that cheap either.

I was an out of towner. This store does have some items I haven’t seen elsewhere. good selection of kids toys, bicycles, and dishes. I really like to go through the dishes. They had good prices and a lot more sets of matching dishes.

Very friendly drop off section. If I visit and do not need to take something back I drop it off here as it has a great location for me.

At first, I was dubious about this Goodwill. As soon as I came in, it looked pretty small… I also did not see what I see at a lot of other Goodwill locations, which is the sign proclaiming which colors that week are going to be 50% off. As far as I saw, that might not be the case for this Goodwill. I didn’t ask, though, so don’t hold me to that. However, as I perused the dress section, I came to really appreciate it. Though I didn’t end up buying any dresses,(I have so many that my new mantra is «If you LIKE it, you aren’t getting it. You have to LOVE it.»), I tried on, oh… About 15. There were so many cute ones, from Candie, Urban Outfitters, American Eagle, Express, Charlotte Russe, Gap, White House Black Market, etc. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Goodwill with so many tags still attached to the dresses. Most of the dresses were modern when I came. One of my main purposes when I came to this location was to find cute vintage dresses, and I didn’t find very many. There are a lot of vintage skirts, though. The weird 1960s wollen ones. Not at lot in the book department that I was interested in, though I did snag a hardback Neil Gaiman book. The housewares were pretty interesting, but that’s one of the best parts of going to a Goodwill. I found a seriously AWESOME giant time turner thing… What are those called again? The kind with sand that you turn upside down, and it trickles out to designate the time? Well, I’m pretty sure this one was an hour one, because that baby kept ticking away. Another awesome find was a set of record player compatable speakers for uner $ 4, something I’ve been looking for for a loooong time. They work, too. And while we’re on the subject of records, they were all priced at .77 here! Which is exciting sense most Goodwills price records independently, or they’re like $ 2.50+ each. I got a Journey album, West Side Story,(and there were still a couple other musical records), two records with hits from the 1930−1950s, and a waltz album. There was a lot of Mailow and Streisand, ha ha.

YOUNEVERKNOWWHATYOU’LLFIND On a recent visit I purchased a Lenox cake plate for ~ $ 2, a new Talbot’s sweater($ 108 tag attached) for $ 4.95, and a red leather purse with the name«Barbara» discretely etched on the side. I bought the purse to give my friend Barbara, but — sorry Barb — I decided to keep it. Ends up «Barbara» is a high end line from Milan, that retails for over $ 300. My best find at this branch is a genuine Italian Missoni dress — not the line they sell at Target — for $ 5.95.(At Saks it’s $ 700.) There’s a woman in my subdivision who owns a popular ‘resale’ store. I frequently see her buying merchandise in Goodwill and she jacks up the price. Yup — this branch is a good one. December 2013 Update: Another example of the merits of this shop: Found two Royal Doulton figurines, perfect condition, one listed on Ebay for $ 400, the other not much less. Not a bad find for a total of $ 5!

This has become my go-to Goodwill. I have found many great, brand new looking tops here(often times with the tag still on them). I’ve also found great dressy/casual shoes. The prices are reasonable and not overpriced. Some great finds I’ve bought: –A set of 8 rattan outdoor chairs.($ 24) –An ottoman for $ 5. –many great cardigans /tanks. –brand new looking brown leather knee-high boots. –I actually bought a bag full of wedding favors which ended up not using and was able to sell on eBay and profit $ 30. Overall, enjoyable, clean and never overcrowded. Their art selection is pretty limited and they have a smaller space than other Goodwill’s for furniture, so it’s limited also.

This store seems a bit older than many of the Goodwill locations. That or I came on a day that someone brought in items from a place that needed to be aired out because that was my initial thought when I took my first breathe as I walked in. The store is otherwise like all of the others. Please note if you are a Newbie at Thrift Shopping that you will often times get items from donated from people that live in the area, so if there are a lot of older, younger, hippie, eclectic, hip hop, tall, skinny, short, fat people near your home/or local thrift store then that is basically what you will find at your store. Now I do know that stores also get items from a main center, but if you are old and all of the people in your area are young, then you may have a hard time finding clothes that you will like. I don’t come here often. Just every once in a while. You can find some good deals here if you are diligent in your quest! My point is that this store often times has items that are to me useful for older people or people that like items from the 60’s and 70’s. And I always get a since of nostalgia when I visit this location. Now that is not to say that most of the other locations don’t have crap that is old as dirt(I’m a 70’s baby so I am not trying to be mean here) but this one is like you went back to the past to shop. But hey, they say fashion/syles come back around every 20 years or so. And after searching for months all over Atlanta, I found all 4 pair of my wooden accordion style wall racks here! Haven’t seen them in a house since the mid 80’s… :)
