I ordered a pair of Shelco Steel Water filter casings from H2o and couldn’t be more disappointed. When I placed the order, the salesperson told me the parts I ordered would be drop shipped directly from the manufacturer, which gave me pause, since I needed to install the parts as soon as possible to get our home water system up and running. At my request, the salesperson contacted the manufacturer, and confirmed that the parts would be shipped the following day for delivery within 3 – 5 days. Based on that assurance, I placed the order and, indeed, the following day, H2o sent me a shipping confirmation email that advised me the casings had been shipped. However, when they still hadn’t arrived a week later, I contacted H2o, who responded by sending me the delivery tracking number, which showed that the parts weren’t shipped until Friday, two business days after they were supposed to have gone out. They finally arrived the following Thursday, nine days after I placed the order, and even then, the shipment contained only one of the two casings I’d ordered – meaning that my family and I would continue to be without full use of water in our house until the second casing arrived. I called H2o and got no explanation whatsoever why only half of my order was shipped out, but was told only that the second half of it would be sent out tomorrow, for shipment five business days later. After I complained, they agreed to expedite the shipment to three-day air, meaning it would arrive next Tuesday, a full two weeks after I placed the order. Needless to say, I have decided to cancel the order and try to find the parts from a company that is able to give me a realistic shipping estimate, or at least show the minimal amount of customer service savvy to admit their mistake and make a reasonable attempt to remedy their error.
