IHOP

I was surprised by the mildew smell and lack of effort in cleanliness and presentation. The hostess and my waitress were very polite and are the only positive reason for the one star I’m giving. The food was luke warm at best, I asked for extra crispy hash browns and I got extra greasy, still pretty soft. Bacon was way undercooked the pancakes even looked horrible, only decent thing was the eggs that I took two bites of. Obviously not trying, obviously don’t give two shits. Whoever the manager is, you absolutely suck. I left before you came to my table so I didn’t make a scene you feckless moron.

Kids loves the pancakes, and even though it was crazy weather and snow, the service was still great. It is an IHOP, so i give it 4 stars for the fact that as an IHOP this was a good experience. You get a ton of food for your buck, and with 2 kids the value is just right for breakfast. I usually get the steak for my meal and this time got the steak tips instead, and it was happy with what i got!

Absolutely the worst ihop I’ve ever been in rude unprofessional staff the building stinks and seems very outdated

Went in and ordered the T-​bone steak and eggs and asked for my steak to be cooked medium. After arriving home with my meal, I attempted to eat my steak but realized that it was Rare and RAW completely inside. I contacted IHOP to inform them off this carelessness and was told to by Angela, the manager at this location, to bring the steak back to them so that it can be recooked… Ummm, that is definitely unsanitary and unethical. A customer should never be expected to go out of their way to fix an employee’s mistake. Gas is not free! Not once was I offered a replacement of my entire meal since it obviously would be cold and unsatisfying after having to sit through this fiasco. I was expected to only bring back the steak to be «fixed». How crazy is that? A refund at best would have been more appropriate if anything after the inconvenience. Serving undercooked food can cause sickness to some individuals. A completely raw steak after ordering a steak that required only a warm pink center is unacceptable and the situation could have been worse for me as a customer. What a complete waste of hard earned money. I will not be returning and if you would like good service from competent people, I would advise that u not dine here either.

The PROS: the waitress was really sweet, and my husband liked his blackberry-​lemonade pancake.
The CONS: it is a gross, cheap, dump. Shame on me for not walking right back out… my daughter wanted pancakes and I didn’t have the energy to argue with a 4-​year old. My husband and I agreed on sweaty feet as the description of the smell. The place is small and the tables are packed in tight. My husband’s glass had a sharp chip off the rim. The server said that sometimes the newer staff use the glass to scoop the ice. Big no-no…I wonder who got our glass shard in their Diet Coke? As we walked out, I paid more attention to the floors and I have not seen worse. Trash and food droppings just swept into a wet soppy corner.
Seriously, why doesn’t Unilocal have a zero star option? I love IHOP and will try the one up near Roswell. Crossing fingers…

I usually don’t write reviews, but the service at this place was so despicable that I decided to spend a couple minutes typing this.
After we get seated (party of 7), one of the servers says he’s coming to clean the table which never happened. My husband aggravated with it did it himself. We wait now for about 10 minutes for someone to finally show up at our table. She gets our order and comes back 10 minutes with two cups of orange juice, one third of our drink order which included nothing more than coffee and soda… No brain surgery I assume. When the rest of the order comes in, right away my gf notices a long thick hair intertwined in her omelette which they took away and brought something else to replace. Right before we’re done, at the last piece of my son’s waffle I see him pulling out another hair.
Ps: tension all over as two employees were having a fit with each other in plain sight. Unprofessional and beyond.
Horrible service, horrible hygiene and very unprofessional. I’ve eaten in many IHOPs, this one? Please don’t waste your time, money, patience and possibly your health.

I have to echo the past reviews. The SMELL is HORRIBLE. Im in it now and it smells like it smells like old mop water. I mean, the is food is great, regular ihop food. But that smell tho!!!

this place is disgusting.
you may mistake the waitresses for cheap hookers. people were talking about smoking meth outside, and still made the mistake of eating in this hell hole.

Much improved menu. Would have rated at 2 in the past, now a 3+.
We both had the new large hot apple cider.
I had the turkey berry melt. Turkey, swiss and ligonberry jam. Very good. Really
Wife had french onion pot roast. She said it was very tasty. Her mashed potatoes and corned looked like the old ihop though
Son had a double blt. So their standard foods haven’t gone away either. They added waffles to the menu though. Maybe next time
Store was empty so service was very good. Got through fairly quickly. Diner across the street had long waits and full parking lot. So this was much more relaxed dinner

gotta tell you, I’ve been coming here for over 35 years, and today was awesome as usual and I hadn’t been drinking. (younger days would have found us Mariettans at all hours of the night there.) Had the smokehouse platter. Ate everything on my plate and the two pancakes. Also had the hot apple cider. Awesome. thank you for the great waitress we had. And again, I will be back soon.

Great and friendly staff and very delicious food. Would prefer this place to waffle house. I ordered some delicious steak, mashed potatoes and corn. Not bad at all for the price.

I’d give this place 0 stars if I could! Walked in and there was the worst smell EVER! Baby dirty diapers, rotten food, body odor, or a combo of all 3 plus some!!! It’s very tiny inside, the staff looks less than desirable (let’s face it, it’s a restaurant, you don’t want people losing their spirited before having a chance to look at the menu.). There was NOTHING positive I could say about this place. And I LOVE IHOP! I will never go back to this location unless they’re going to tear down and rebuild!

The food came out faster then we expected. They dont put much ice in your drinks, be prepared to ask for an extra glass of ice. They have a rating of 86 B… needs improvement before I will go back! The waiter was ok, he didn’t come back to check on us til we were done!

Not the best IHop I’ve ever been to and the location is not the easiest to get to turning in from the left coming down Cobb parkway.
I called in my order for just a short stack of pancakes and the waitress on the phone wasn’t friendly so I was starting to dread coming to this location.
This shop like other places on Cobb parkway is in need of a MAJOR update and expansion. It was cramped and uncomfortable and I wouldn’t eat here even if you begged me. The customers looked like they were sitting on top of each other and the waitresses were all crowded at the cashier station and looked like sardines packed in a can.
By the time I could get to the cash register pass the families packed in the waiting area I was ready to run out of there screaming, it’s just too cramped in there and people kept bumping into me… So I pay for my pancakes and wait for the waitress to fumble through her money to give me my change which I was shorted 13 cents but I didn’t care I was ready to go and I had no plans to leave a tip after the rude service I received on the phone.
Anyway there are far better places to go to for pancakes and this location needs to be moved to somewhere bigger… I like IHop, but I’m not going back to this location…

August 26^th went to brunch with a friend for her birthday. I got the sirloin tips breakfast platter which came with pancakes too. So, I got the red velvet pancakes and I also ordered the banana waffle for dessert. Everything was delicious. Beef tips were tender and tasty, pancakes were not too sweet. I put some butter pecan syrup on the banana waffle and went to town. Our server Sherry B was so cool. The place was clean. All was right with the world

Pretty standard IHOP. I’ve had a great server both times I’ve been, but during my first visit, there was a not-​so-​awesome server for the table next to me. She was practically berating her customers.

I think whenever I’m out of NYC and go to an IHOP I believe it’s one of the best places on earth.
The service was fast, the waiter was polite and was ready to get anything we needed. I’m also sure that they use cake batter instead of pancake batter, because those pancakes were so good. It’s like crack… NYC get up on it… LOL!
The lovely southern hospitality goes a long way!

A waitress made fraudulent charges on my card here. Bad customer service. Very claustrophobic. Kitchen is too exposed. Waiters and waitress are unattractive. I mean goodness I thought I was in a Awful House *oops I mean Waffle House. Never again will I make the mistake of going here.

As you already know… I Love IHOP.
This one was no different… Just Yummy!

This Ihop is close to my house and I love it. There always nice, good food. Specially the night staff are wonderful, I’m usually there at night. I also appreciate the great idea of ihop to serve basically all the menu any time of the day.
Love their nutella crepes!!!
