As I’m here all the time — easy to take for granted. Tremendously mix of stores, restaurants. Only thing that would improve it is an Ace-type hardware store. Otherwise, go nuts.

Are u kidding me… reviewing a strip mall? Well alright then. It’s a great place to walk around with East Cobber’s(some are kind of full of themselves). Personally, I suggest going to sope creek or a park to walk around.

My family and I frequent the Merchant’s Walk shopping center for many different reasons. Whole Foods, Old Navy, Mirko Pasta, Movie Theatre, tons of fun things to do as far as restaurants, shopping, and entertainment.

Merchants Walk has come a long way in the 10 years since I lived in East Cobb. I am anxious to visit the movie theater, but for now, I am content and even pleased with the selection of stores and the brand new Whole Foods. Pinkberry is yummy, but I won’t be a regular there because it is just too expensive for what it is. Kohls and Old Navy satisfy my need to browse the sales, and new stores are opening soon. I’ll keep my eye on it.

Merchants Walk transformation is just getting better every day. From the addition of Marlow’s as well as Whole Foods(opening August 2011) it is the place to shop in East Cobb. And the spiffy facelift of the theaters is pretty awesome too. My kids adore Chipotle as well as Gigi’s cupcakes and I have become addicted to Pinkberry Yogurt. And I can’t wait to see some of the other additions moving in soon! Well done!

This shopping center is on its last leg. Even six years ago, when people still went here, there wasn’t much life. You can watch the businesses fall out one after another. It’s kind of sad. What they have left: a public library, a Stein Mart, a Dance Stop, and an old theater. I wonder what it’s like to work in one of those places now. There’s almost never any cars here. Do they play tag and drink beer and scream ‘Go to your positions!” when someone approaches the door. I can dream, can’t I? The rest of the stores are pretty much husks of nothing that will sit unrented until some developer buys and tears this down. It’s a prime piece of real estate. They could do something big with it. I say they get going.
