I called Mr. Plumber to look at my kitchen faucet and laundry room sink, both of which were leaking. They fixed the laundry sink to my satisfaction; however, the kitchen faucet — not so much. I needed to replace the faucet including accessories — 4 pieces total. They encouraged me to go through Ferguson on Wills Road. I purchased the exact same 3 piece faucet and separate accessory(soap dispenser) I had previously owned. I picked up the faucet at Ferguson, not realizing that Ferguson had not packaged the pieces correctly. I handed the box to Mr. Plumber telling him I purchased the exact same faucet as before. The Mr. Plumber tech put the 3 pieces in realizing they were not the same as before. He told me he couldn’t install the soap dispenser because it needed a longer shaft. Which is weird because it is exactly what I had had before. The Mr. Plumber tech left before I realized the pieces didn’t match — I noticed that approximately 30 min. after he left. I called Mr. Plumber to tell them the faucet parts did not match. Initially, they told me it was not their problem and that they wouldn’t want to offend me by telling me the pieces didn’t match! Seriously!!! They wanted to charge me close to $ 400 to come back out and install the correct faucet. Then they backed that down to $ 250 after I complained. Keep in mind, Mr. Plumber purchases all of their accessories and parts from Ferguson, so clearly they have a relationship. I called Ferguson to report that I picked up the faucet today which was not what I purchased… what I picked up included 3 different versions of a Delta faucet. One would think that because Ferguson and Mr. Plumber have this relationship, that they would work this out and get me the correct faucet I ordered and paid for. ANDCOMEBACKOUTANDINSTALLITFORFREE! Not to mention, Mr. Plumber was VERYQUICK to sell me on some maintenance plan — which I stupidly signed up for by signing my name to the bill BEFORE he started working on the faucet. I WILLNEVERUSETHEMAGAINANDENCOURAGEOTHERSNOTTOOASWELL! They are far from a customer service oriented company! They don’t care about their customers at all. It’s all about the money with them. And did I mention, they took my original faucet parts with them. I asked them to return them to me today, and they did! At least they did that. I am waiting to hear back from Ferguson on next steps.

My Mr Plumber Invoice shows the address as 1787 Williams Dr, Marietta, GA30066, and the phone number is 770−777−1111. In the interest of Full Disclosure, Mr Plumber is an affiliate of Coolray, and Coolray maintains my HVAC systems(and they recently installed a new AC system in my house). I appreciate the services provided by Mr Plumber. I especially like the work of Kevin Holley, Master Plumber. In addition to being a very capable technician, Kevin is friendly and he will discuss the problems and the options with you, without any sales pressure. It’s your choice. I recently requested Kevin when it came time for me to deal with a burst copper water pipe in my garage ceiling. The copper pipe line is too long from the shutoff valve inside my house to the hose faucet outside the two car garage. The line wouldn’t drain and it froze during a week of 15 degree weather. I discovered it when I turned on the water this Spring. I cut into the garage ceiling to try to find the split pipe on my own; found one, but there were more. I needed Kevin’s experience. Kevin repaired all three burst pipe sections. A special power crimping tool was used to make the repair connections, no soldering! The work was all done at plumbing trade flat rates, with a one-year parts and labor warranty.

I wont use these folks again! Not because they don’t do good work but because of the fact that they sell you stuff you don’t need under the guise of saving you money. I was recommended to replace my toilet in a bathroom that I don’t often use, and had one of the more expensive toilets pushed on me without trying to tell me about the less expensive models. When you are trying to deal with a water leak, you aren’t always sharp mentally, and are easily influenced by people you hire to give you advice that ought to be in your interest, not theirs. In addition, he also pushed a service contract on me under the guise that it would save me money. Those are practices that I find to be the hallmark of a company I would never use again since the priority seems to be their commission, and not the customer’s best interest.
