Pearl’s Treasures is a very small gift shop in the Harmar District right along the water. You can get to it from downtown by the rusty, out-out-service, pedestrian-only Harmar Rail-Trail Muskigum River Bridge or via car across the Putnam Street Bridge. They have a front section where the smaller and more valuable items are kept, including jewelry in cases, and in the back some larger, older items. They have a mixture of modern, antique and replication. At a glance you’ll see a ceramic ash tray from the 50’s, a vase from the 70’s and a well-endowed December Diamonds merman ornament from 00’s …yeah, definitely the ‘00s. I uploaded a pic of some cracked glass ornaments I bought for $ 1.50 each. Not a bad price for their heavy weight(ironically a little too heavy for the tree) but they were«Made in India.» Definitely pop in for a welcoming reception and interesting variety.
