I have two boys that come to this office one is 18 years old and he sees Dr Licata. He is an amazing dr and makes my son feel very comfortable during his visits! He jokes with my son but will tell him like it is when needed! My youngest son is 18 months and sees Dr Pikholz I feel like she takes her time more with the younger ones and she makes sure when you leave the visit all of your concerns and questions are answered! The staff at this office has been nothing but nice and helpful. The girls at the front desk are always smiling and make you feel welcome. I would highly tell everyone to come to this office. And the charges for forms are very reasonable they are only 10 $ a form which is not bad and it’s normally ready within 2 business days!

My children saw Dr. Ani for 15 years before I finally moved my youngest teenager to Wellstar. Because we loved Dr. Ani so much I think we tolerated the front office staff for many years longer than I ever would have anywhere else. They are not«almost rude» as the earlier review said, they are«downright rude». Once I called to get a sports physical form completed and wanted to make an appt. for a physical. The staff member on the phone told me just to bring the form in and they would fill it out. As we sports moms all know, sports physicals cannot be done before April of the year before the season. I told her she needed an actual physical and she insisted that I didn’t. I called even a little later that day because I was SURE we would need a physical. She was SO put out and told me with a BIG sigh to PLEASE— just bring the form in and they would fill it out. Later in the week I brought the form in and the staffer looked at me like I was insane and indignantly said«Well, you need a physical we can’t just fill this out!!» It was all a could do to not spew curse words.(I didn’t – remember we love Dr. Ani) If you need a record, or form or anything from them good luck. A few years ago they started upcharging for anything they need to do that is outside of scheduling appointments and taking your money. Camp forms are $ 20 and then when they wanted to charge me $ 125 cash in order for Dr. Ani to review my childs’ academic testing before making an ADD appointment I decided enough was enough. That is not a normal charge for the industry and they did not do that when I brought my older children in for the same thing. We have since moved to the new Wellstar pediatrics and they have been absolutely wonderful in every way. If you are looking for a new pediatric practice keep looking, it used to be great here and we loved it there are a lot of wonderful pediatricians outside of this practice.

My review is mixed. Our pediatrician is Dr Ani and I have nothing but outstanding things to say about her and Dr Pikholz. We quit seeing Dr Licata. The last visit with him was to see my teenage son for a physical. He took two personal calls on his cell phone while examining my son. The nurses are always kind and comforting. My problem lies in the front office. The staff at the front are almost rude. I stood at the checkout desk almost 5 minutes while staff(6 or so staff members) continued about their business before acknowledging me. When someone finally noticed me, a curt«apology»(«I had something really important on my mind, I had to write down») was all she said. I realize this is not a huge deal. But this«service» is typical of the office staff. If the office staff could match the compassion of the nurses and Dr Ani & Dr Pikholz they would have an amazing practice.
