The food here is really great. The appetizer spring roll portions are larger than I have seen anywhere else, and their use of pork in the rolls makes them so delicious! The Thai tea is good and spicy, the bean sprout portions with the phở are huge, and the quality of noodles and meat are quite good. The broth is really good, and it comes with cilantro already in the broth, which was new to me since most places include the cilantro on the veggie plate. Sadly, the one thing on their menu that made me really excited to try it, the pork and shrimp rice flour crêpe, is no longer offered according to the waiter when I tried to order it. We were glad to find this spot, as it’s one of the best we’ve found in our area, but the only thing keeping a star back is the lack of proper service. There are two guys who seem to be sons of the person doing the cooking in the back, and they are good at what they do, but there are too many tables in addition to their duties with the attached store for me to have felt that I was really being looked after either time I ate there. If they could hire another server or even a hostess or even a person to run the register in their store, I think it would help the experience a lot.

Delicious, tender beef noodle soup. Authentic Vietnamese food. Iced milk coffee hits the spot, be sure to stir before asking the wait staff for milk(it sinks to the bottom). Enter via mini grocery store to the left of the restaurant.

I’m giving this place one star NOT because of the food, but because of the health rating. The place got a 70-something according to an AJC article. All I could picture was the scene in the Muppets movie where the mice grease the grill by skating on butter…

I’ve had lunch at this restaurant twice before and the food was great both times! However, my experience yesterday sincerely disappointed me. I arrived at 11:22am, and apparently they open at 11:30am so I made myself comfortable on the sofa in the waiting area. At 11:30 I noticed people started coming in and were being seated so I stood up and got in line. I was never asked to have a seat prior to everyone else who came in behind me so I figured maybe they forgot I was waiting. Once I was seated, the hosted took 15-minutes to come and fill my glass with water, and all of the servers kept passing me and serving everyone else until I stood up and asked for service! :-/ Then once my food arrived there was a brown hair in my fish sauce. At this point I was so done I just moved the sauce to the side after removing the hair and ate my food as fast as possible so that I could leave and get back to work. I had no time to argue. Later last night I had loose bowls and my stomach is still churning. All I can think is maybe I pissed the staff off by arriving almost 10/min before opening time. Worse lunch experience I have ever had!!!

The Phở broth is pretty bad. I don’t know if you had good Phở, but the broth is suppose to be clear. The broth here was too salty, and very cloudy and thick. I was disappointed.

This is a hidden gem for sure! It’s in the middle of no where in Smyrna, almost near Marietta in a dated strip mall attached to the oriental market next to it. The Phở is no joke, it is so delicious and consistent. Anytime I’m sick, hungover, or just in need of comfort food, it is the ! I always order the Chicken Phở, and my BF gets the Phở Thai, and both are delicious. The service is wonderful, we are often seated and served quickly, and it’s usually just a few folks manning the hosting, serving and cashier area. They are very efficient and attentive. They always remember us too, we don’t even need menus anymore because we order the same thing every time, haha. Definitely give this place a shot, you won’t regret it!

While the food here is awesome to the taste, especially the Shrimp Phở(they actually grill the shrimp, best in Metro), they don’t post their Inspection Score. AJC has published a score of «barely passing!» Health Score is 70 — D.

They charge a decent price. Food taste delicious. I like how they give you three egg rolls or three springs instead of two & they cut in half. Everyone must try.

So I’m craving the pork meat dish, and it’s around rush hour time. There’s no way I’m trekking to Buford Highway. But, I finally learned there’s a true Vietnamese restaurant(not the commercialized abomination known as Saigon Café on Cobb Parkway) in side of town. Phở Hoang Long, as others have stated, is in a run down strip mall of mostly Hispanic businesses. There is a small Asian grocery store adjacent to the restaurant. It has a decent selection of some basics: noodles, sauces, sweet treats, and a sad little section for produce. The restaurant interior seems a little sad and dated, with a dirty aquarium serving as the decoration that stands out. Food wise, it has most things you’d expect from a Vietnamese place: the vermicelli noodles, rice dishes, of course phở, and even a limited selection of bubble teas. Only missing item was the banh mi sandwich. I asked them about it a while ago and they said it was an issue of getting a regular supply of the bread. Both times I went, I got the rice and pork combo, and it was solid. The rice was a little too dry, and the meat wasn’t quite spectacular. But as a meal, it hit my cravings. The egg rolls are pretty good, as are the spring rolls. I was surprised the spring rolls included the same meat from my entrée. I don’t remember which flavor of the bubble tea I got, but it wasn’t anything to brag about. Our server was an attentive young man, but he was the only one there to serve as host and the lone server to a rather busy crowd. Because he was spread so thin, I think the service suffered a little. Overall, not a bad option to have in Cobb County if you’re craving Vietnamese, but not bad enough to travel to the other side of town to get it.

I had never been before. I used the comments of others to determine my lunch today. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the soup it was wonderful. I ordered the small size but couldnt finish. Ordered the shrimp it was plentious very flavorful, I needed to add nothing to it. The atmosphere is adorable and very clean. Very diverse eaters I really enjoyed that. Definitely will return.

The last review was a bit inaccurate. I went again today and the pork was so tender. I wonder if it was the same as last time or maybe it was because I was off pork for a while… not sure this time I ordered the papaya salad again and boy I thought I was going to pass out. I only did medium. Geeez. Pad ke mow was delish! My 4 year ate it! Shrimp rolls, vermicelli and chicken phở all amazing. This place is a must come! Don’t let the«neighborhood«scare you…

Astounding. Best bang for the buck Vietnamese food in the NW metro Atlanta area. I found this place while browsing Google for Phở in Marietta, and as a result of discovering it’s existence, I’ve since made a conscious effort to look for privately owned restaurants located in dilapidated strip malls. After finding Phở Hoang, I seriously and deliberately started looking for the culinary gems hidden in misleading business environments. This place is a diamond in the rough if there ever was one. Simply put, the Phở is top notch and served in absurdly generous portions, and at a truly reasonable price. The Vietnamese spring rolls are also excellent. This weekend I ate here with six friends, four of whom ordered different versions of Phở. We had a great time tasting the differences between the broths, and then tasting the soup again after we had made our individual modifications to the soup. It was a lot of fun, and it tasted very, very good. Perhaps, one of the most surprising things I had at this restaurant was the Pad Thai. The Pad Thai at Phở Hoang isn’t quite like the Pad Thai you get at other places, and it has just a little more oil than most Pad Thai dishes I’ve had. But this is a compliment as opposed to a criticism. Even better the Pad Thai at Phở Hoang Long, is spicier than most versions of Pad Thai I’ve tasted, without loosing the peanut flavor that gives Pad Thai its characteristic flavor. And you can get it as spicy as you want, so its not so hot that it only appeals to fans of spicy food. Eat here, if you can. You will not regret it.

I’ve been coming here since high school(so at least 6+ years) and the food here has always been consistently very good. If you’re looking for delicious Vietnamese food and not feeling a long trip to Buford Hwy from the Cobb County area, then this is probably the only good place to go to(that I currently know of). The place is located in a strip mall that looks sketchy af, but that shouldn’t deter you! It’s a family owned place that is half oriental food mart, and half restaurant. The only con that I can really think of is that sometimes the service is slow when it gets busy, but service is always nice and accommodating! What’s good that I’ve tried? + Phở — traditional and wonderfully made + Vermicelli noodle — really good, especially the one with charbroiled pork and egg rolls + Spring rolls + Vietnamese ice milk coffee — amazing, and a personal favorite + Com bo luc lac + Taro milk tea — the milk tea is more smoothie than normal milk tea, but still good Random comment — if you come here enough, they start to remember your order! Every server(who btw are the family members) seems to know exactly what my dad likes to order haha.

To be honest, I sat in my car for almost an entire minute as I decided whether or not I was going to dine here. The area and shopping center where the restaurant is located seemed a bit sketch. Plus I was having a snobbish moment. I snapped out of it and went in anyway. And I’m glad I did. The restaurant looked better on the inside than it did on the outside. And the phở here tasted very good, much to my relief. The broth was flavorful and there was a lot of chicken in my small bowl order. They also served 3 spring rolls, unlike the order of two I’m used to getting other places. I’m not sure how often I’ll be in the area. But it’s nice to have another go-to spot for phở.

I always have a small Beef Steak Phở with additional meatballs here, and nothing else. It’s enough to give me sweet dreams for the night. Not sure why they changed limes to lemons though, I do prefer limes better. And I rather wish they’d give me more soup though. About the neighborhood, although it’s a little scary to come by myself, but it’s really worth it. The restaurant always looks like it’s closed and inconspicuous, but most of the time it really is open.

The best phở and pad-see-ew I’ve had! I love it here. It’s cute and cozy with a store attached to it. I always eat here when I’m around the area. It’s a family owned restaurant and they work so hard. I see them here every time I come. The phở is perfect and I’ve been to many phở places before. I’ll post a picture of my phở before I add any sauces to it. My favorite part about this restaurant is how simple it is. You just sit, order, eat, and go home happy! :)

Hole in the wall place connected to a grocery store. Shrimp basil roll is good. It was fresh. We asked them to make it without pork as we don’t eat pork. Be mindful the sauce is peanut sauce. Pad Thai — Excellent. Phở Ga — Chicken — excellent. Definitely must try. Phở Tom — Shrimp — Great. Definitely must try. Com Chien Do Bien — Vietnamese Seafood Fried Rice — great! Must try. Hot is quite spicy so make sure you choose your spices carefully.
