Dr Peng is nice enough and seems knowledgeable but his staff leaves a lot to be desired. I overheard the nurse telling a mother with a sick child to visit a walk in clinic as she didn’t want the child in the waiting room. This same nurse didn’t call me back when I was sick. And when I was ill I couldn’t get an appointment to see the doctor. When I finally saw the doctor I was well. The receptionist is next to useless and daft as a door knob. I actually called her useless and she thought it was a compliment. Next.

I worked with Dr. Peng for about 2 years as I was a social worker at a nursing home that he covers. It was during this time that I realized what a hard worker he is and how much he really does care for his patients. His office is pretty much right across the St. from Kennestone hospital with tons of free parking. His office is small and he does one thing that you don’t see Docs do very often; he doesn’t overbook himself. He’s not one of those test happy doctors who wants you to go for tons of blood work, MRI, and CT simply because you’ve had a few headaches. He’s very holistic in his approach and loves to give non-medicinal tips on things like keeping my Eczema under control(stay away from laundry detergent)! He’s a sweet man, his office staff is always kind, you don’t have to go through a phone tree to speak to someone, and if you don’t feel good, they’ll find a way to fit you in for the day. I wish there were more docs like him out in the world.
