If you love beer and want a solid recommendation(and big selection!) go here, and talk to Tyler! I wanted a treat today, and I enjoy trying new beer. Tyler took the time to ask me about the kinds of beer I liked, and what I liked about them. He then taught me a bit about Wheats(my favorite) and gave me some very solid recommendations. He also suggested a few other types I might enjoy, and boy was he right! I’m sitting here enjoying a «new to me» beer, «Rosetta,» by Ommegang. Fantastic! I am also enjoying the traditional German wheat he recommended. Thanks, Tyler! PS-The girl at the checkout could use a little more pep in her step; she didn’t seem to want to bag my beer… but maybe she was having an off day. Customer service can be stressful, right?

Hey beer fans, forget what you’ve heard before, Sherlock’s informs us that the expiration dates on IPA’s are just completely made up. A «fake fact» they say! Either the staff here is ignorant, or more likely, lying to customers in order to justify selling expired product to customers. I’ve seen some product that was over a year out of date for sale here. Shameful. Sherlock’s is just fine if you want to pick up your six pack of Michelobe or to grab a jug of liquor. For a *quality* beer selection head over to Sprayberry Bottle Shop instead!

They have a great selection and prices but stay away from the clearance section, everything is dusted over and extremely expired to the point it is very unsafe to consume and they should not be allowed to still have on the shelves!!!

Where I get my torpedo kegs for my kegerator. Great selection. Great prices ~ They have everything you may want. And again, their prices are the best.

Nice craft beer selection, but I was really surprised by the range of red blends they offered. Really didn’t have much time to dig deep, although the first pass seemed promising. If the $ 12 California meritage I stumbled on pans out, I’ll definitely be back for more. Location is sorta a pain to get to, however, when mall traffic is at peak.

Everything during my visit was fine… until I got to the checkout. The guy at the register was a COMPLETE a** hole! If I had not been with my three friends and not wanted to embarass them, each of whom he asked for an I.D. from, I would NEVER have continued with my purchase! And probably would have cussed him out. He had a rude and condisending attitude the whole time and was just a total jerk. I will NEVER go back to that store and NEVER suggest anyone else does. Just the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life!

for me it’s hard to beat the price and convenience. easy parking and nice selection. one down side. i tried to find green chartreuse. they didn’t have and said they would order it and call me when it comes in. no call. went back 2 wks later, they said it sometimes takes a while. 4 months later i have pretty much given up on the idea. go somewhere else if they don’t have something in stock. i doubt they ever really«special order«anything.just tell me. it’s ok

Unlike the crap hole called«Total Wine» down the road, Sherlock’s Wine, Liquor, Beer and Cigars is for the grown up more sophisticated native Cobb County, if such a thing exist. First off, their store has a lot more class and their drinks are just better all around. What actually keeps me coming back to Sherlock’s is that no one needs to double check my ID. Yes, after a long day at the office, the last thing I want is some overweight white girl at «Total Wine» to one, bitch about how shitty her day is, and two, then call a manager to see if my ID is legit. Okay, sorry chubby lady that your day sucked, I just failed a audit — now give me my bottle of wine. Anyhow, Sherlock’s has a great staff and they are always there to help you out. I will come here for my booze any day of the week.

This is my absolute favorite place to buy wine. They have such a vast assortment it makes it really hard to choose, but if you are having difficulty, there’s always a knowledgeable staff member around to help you make your selection whether its for yourself or somebody else. I appreciate having salespeople around who actually know what they’re talking about. On top of that, the spirits section is always updated. If there’s something new on the market, you can bet Sherlock’s has it. It seems whenever I go in there’s a new bottle of something on the shelves, whether its in wine, beer or liquor, and almost always, someone working there can give you a briefing of the new item. Prices here are better than the competitors in the area, including Costco, and if you happen to have a printed ad for beer/wine they’ll match that price or even take off an extra percentage — always nice! The only down side is, Georgia is a «no-ship» state. Which means, this makes it difficult to special order some things that you can find in other states. This is by no means, a fault of Sherlock’s, but just something to keep in mind if you try to special order something(as I did) and are not able to get it due to Georgia state wine shipping policies.
