I love this restaurant. I know the owners for over 14 years and I love the ghormeh sabzi and the chicken kabab as well as the kobideh. Some how when you cater food from them it taste better. priced reasonable compare to all other Persian restaurants.

The pita bread was dry and stale. Looked like packaged and store-bought. Went in the evening, the place was dead. We were the only ones there. It’s a bit gloomy inside. Food was just ok, nothing special. Mandatory 18% tip.

I happened to find this place when I was lost in Marietta and I am very glad. Place is not anything fancy which is not important to me. Food quality is more important and I was not disappointed. I ordered kabob kubideh and it was excellent. Probably one of the more authentic I have had. Rice was great and service was fantastic. Everyone was full of smiles and very pleasant and friendly. And they have hookah too. I would recommend Shish kabob to anyone.

Kabob meats are awesome, house-made lemonade is good too — it’s like a refreshing lemon water. A good spot for a quick weekday dinner.

This is for the catering food. Had a hiccup with the order being communicated to the right person even though I placed the order with the owner and confirmed day before. Anyway they righted the wrong mostly because the food was so great. Except the bread got hard real fast but the rest of the food was so great, comparable to eating in at Rumi’s. We had the beef koobideh and zeresh pollo. Lots of compliments from our guests on the food even knowing our panic and ordeal with the order not being placed/ready as confirmed. The salad dressing they gave us was so amazing– I saved what was left. I would order their food again for catering. The price was pretty reasonable.

Visited this place on a Friday night, and we were one of two parties. I think there were more hookah guests than the restaurant itself. The hummus appetizer was good, though this is the first time I had hummus outlast the pita bread. As for the entrees, I had a gyro which came with a bag of chips. My wife had the shish kabob and it was plentiful. Food came out a little bit later than expected, but the quality was good. Overall, it was an average experience.

The food here is solid. I love Mediterranean food and this is a great place to get it. Everything is always cooked well, flavorful and plentiful. You won’t leave hungry, that’s for sure. Service has always been very good. They don’t usually seem busy when I’ve been in but maybe I just go on off times. Make sure you check in for a free hummus plate! It’s excellent!

On my trip from Knoxville to Atlanta, I would always stop for lunch or at times dinner. Their flavor profile is great and always fresh. Lunch Buffet is pricy and gone up to $ 12.99 but it’s still well worth it. You get grilled bone in chicken, barg minced kabab, cube of steaks, Kofta Kabab, 2 veggie, salad, 2 to 3 kinds of rice, bread, hummus and few desert items. The desert is not so great but hey they have it. Summer time the outdoor seating is available where you can sit on day beds and hang. Hookah is also available at this place.

The lady who seemed to be manning the register and running drinks was very pleasant, but the other waitress seemed either to be disinterested in her job or not very fluent in English. I never tried to press her on anything since she looked like she didn’t really want to talk, but the lady from the register normally made up for it by refilling drinks and responding when spoken to. I think the manager was also walking around, but I think he was more interested(and I can understand this, it’s not a complaint!) in people who were regulars, many of whom seemed to speak Farsi. The food was pretty darn good, especially for a buffet! The shish kabob and eggplant stew were pretty good, and definitely a cut above the rest of the offerings. The chicken and the kufta kabob were pretty good, but not quite to the level I would have preferred. I also didn’t see chelo kabob anywhere on their menu or buffet, which I just can’t understand since it’s so much better than kufta kabob! Oh well. The salad and pita weren’t very good, which was surprising for me since those tend to be on point at the good Persian places I’ve visited before, but again that might be because it’s a buffet and not a sit-down restaurant. The restaurant itself is odd, aesthetically speaking. I assume that the front room is intended for the hookah customers, but the dining room, which is a little dingy, has another room at the back that I couldn’t tell whether I could sit there or not. The layout seems like the building must have had a couple of extensions in its past, but it wouldn’t seem to have been done by the restaurant as it comes across that the restaurant is just working with what it has.

Not bad, not great. No one there at 7pm on a Sat. Said it’s their lunch buffet that gets a lot of business. Service was good, nothing to complain about. The flavors were, for me, a little weak. My kabob needed more seasoning/flavor. Just okay.

Food is 8⁄10 buffet is a bit pricey but I stop here to support small business, but the server here today was not in her best attitude or attention. Completely defeated the purpose. Must have better service if yuh are mom n pop

Good food, very friendly staff The buffet was $ 11 after taxes, wide range of vegetables and rice and meats I couldn’t lend that fourth star due to the lack of freshness… While the food tasted good, overall I had a feeling that the salads could have been fresher and the mint sprigs were served on the stem versus placing the leaves in the salads They just need some more TLC in food prep — but overall you would not be disappointed in your meal Oh and they blasted cartoons on a huge tv during a lunch hour — way too loud and too obnoxious given the lunch/business hour

I enjoy eating at this place on a Sat or a Sun for lunch. The buffet is great with variety of different dishes. Eggplant dishes are awesome, very tasty and a little sweet. Three kinds of rice and some vegetables and kabobs. I think they just need to add one authentic dessert, soup and falafel. I haven’t had any problems with the service here. All workers are friendly.

Had the lunch buffet and food was excellent! It was authentic, home cooking that tasted exactly like my Middle Eastern aunts’ dishes. The chicken and kabobs were spiced and cooked to an Iranian girl’s perfection. Definitely had an experience worthwhile of the $ I paid. I wish the servers were a little friendlier though! We got ignored most of the time but that was maybe because they were understaffed. But I will definitely be returning whenever I miss my family’s cooking!

Admittedly a neophyte when it come to Mediterranean cuisine but not shy to try new things and found this to be an adventure. Opted for the Sunday Lunch Buffet and particularly enjoyed the cucumber and yogurt salad, cranberry rice and a grilled beef as well as the grilled vegetables. The dishes all were well seasoned and nothing too exotic. The servers were somewhere between efficient to non existent. I mean that in a kind way, was very little interaction but the glasses stayed full and dirty dishes disappeared. Seemed very popular with the«home cooking» crowd. I want to go back and work through the menu some.

I’m obsessed with this place. Kabobs are all so incredibly flavorful without being overpowering, they are moist and cooked to perfection. I’ve had the lunch buffet and there was not one thing I did not like. Cranberry rice was phenomenal, kabobs are perfect– even just the basic, tabouli on point, hummus– oh god lets not even start on the hummus. Seasoned well, creamy without being runny, garlicky, pairs really well with the pita. This joint is the real deal people. Food is great, people are friendly and it’s CHEAP. I have already come back several times and can’t wait to go more. There was also some interesting hookah seating in the front which I didn’t partake in but looks fun. Five stars! I would have given more of that was an option.

Let me first start off by saying that the food here is outstanding! I’d give it a solid 5 star rating if not for the remainder of this review. This place is usually very empty, so the slow service is tolerable for the great food that we always get. However, the last few times we’ve been there, there has been a new server each time. They are constantly being told what to do from the older woman who seems to run the front. It is impossible to get drink refills, your check and anything else that the waitress may have missed the last time she was at the table. The last time I was there, I watched two tables get seated after us get top notch service as the old woman was constantly sending the waitress to their table to make sure they were well taken care of. I can’t explain why this was the case, but I certainly started to feel like I was a 2nd class customer here, if you get my drift. I think next time I will only order the food take out and I’ll call about an hour ahead. Good luck, the food is super good, the place is being upgraded so it doesn’t get condemned, but the service is what really sucks and however badly you want to blame your server, it is probably not her fault.

This Persian restaurant located in Marietta on Roswell Street is not so hot. I drove about 45 minutes to come here on a friend’s recommendation, and I have to say. it was not worth the drive! I came here for the lunch buffet and they had a good variety of Persian dishes to choose from such as koobideh kababs. The koobideh kababs were kind of hard to swallow, mainly because they were very chewy and hard. All I have to say is that I will probably try this place out once more to try something other than the buffet. I would much rather go to 1001 Nights Persian Cuisine, which is closer to my house and has much better food. I am not impressed :(

I don’t know if there is an option for 3.5 stars, but this place is kinda between 3 and 4 stars. Lunch buffet is definitely a good value but I feel the meat dishes keep running out and they don’t taste as good as on a dinner plate Been there few times for dinner and since it’s always a decent size of group, we always pre order and they really really take good care of us. Overall, very reasonably priced dishes compared to other Persian places; however you get what you pay for; you know what I mean?. It’s hard to explain, but it’s missing that wow factor.

I went for the buffet and overall was quite pleased. The buffet is presented on a long L shape, so there is plenty of room to access it. There are many choices, so should be enough to please most anyone! Price is $ 10.99. I especially liked the strips of roasted eggplant! Theres also lots of table space, so no crowding! I will go back. My GPS wouldnt show this location, maybe yours will. If not its just about 300 yards or so south of the Big Chicken… on Roswell st… not 41. Go in the direction of the big chickens beak, south, its on the left, and the sign says MEDITERRANEANGRILL. Yellow sign. If your looking for Shish Kabob sign there is no such sign.
