May be the worst contractor experience I’ve ever encountered. Serious and significant damage done to any and every area the unprofessional crew came into contact with in our home. Holes in a wall, hard wood floors deeply scratched, furniture damaged, paint on walls scraped, scratched and dented. Attempt to «fix» a creak in a floor resulted in the wall and floor frame being detached. That’s what happens when you indiscriminately bang 63 nails into a 10“x12″ area of the sub floor. Eventually had to have a structural engineer look at the area. That’s just the secondary damage. While viewing the damage it became clear the carpet we bought was installed by the crew beyond poorly. There were immediate and obvious differences in levels, divets, valleys, and peaks. Carpet was coming away from doorframes, carpet on stairs was not attached. There were obvious empty floor spaces between the wall and carpet in some areas. The immediate response from the owners and over the course of several months was bizarre, combative, and so full of falsehoods as to make your head spin and mouth drop. We had several other companies come out to figure out how to correct the installation. Let me tell you it is tough to get another company to correct a bonehead carpet installation. Finally we did, Carpet Depot in Roswell(awesome). It was determined we need to again purchase new carpet for stairs(hundreds of staples ruined the carpet and padding and were beginning to pop up. Hurt when you walked on the stairs). That area could not be salvaged. Since Simple Floors never gave me a receipt or warranty info I had to contact them for carpet name, color, etc. it was like dealing with a spoiled three year old. Basically, «I’m not gonna tell you, nah, nah», with a nasty undertone. After a lot of sleuthing, the carpet manufacture, name, and color were determined and ordered and job scheduled. Brandon, the owner, finally did tell us but we had long since figured it out ourselves. Mind you, ALL carpet had to be removed to be reinstalled. What an eye opening moment it was when the carpet came up. No wonder all the peaks, valleys, divets. Every single room had a patchwork of different grade/weight of padding. A few areas had none! We ate the cost of new carpet on stairs and reinstallation and filed a claim for the extensive secondary damage. I’m still finding damage. Please always remember to get a current and valid Certificate of Insurance from any contractor and check it! The one I was initially given was outdated. Again, it took sleuthing to get the correct information. It shouldn’t be so difficult. FYI, they have another business name as well, Brackenridge Floors.

Had my floors replaced by simple floors. Couldn’t be happier with the results!
