After having my son in private preschool, I was a bit hesitant to enroll him in Georgia Pre-K. But I have been pleasantly surprised. The program at Sprayberry Academy has definitely exceeded my expectations. It’s not just a day care, they have a well-rounded curriculum that prepares children for Kindergarten but is also flexible enough to allow free play and creativity. I have seen remarkable progress in my son, in all areas, since he started Pre-K in August. He is one of the youngest in the class, his birthday is in late summer, but after going through Georgia Pre-K, I think despite his age, he will be well-prepared for starting Kinder in the Fall. This might not have been the case had he not gone to Pre-K. He is eager to learn, is getting ready to read, and has made really good friends. His teacher, Ms. Marla Slade, is amazing, and in less than a year she has already been promoted within the school. I highly recommend her. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the high meal cost compared to other programs($ 180/mo) and also because the building itself and the parking lot are not that pretty. But inside those walls, a whole lot of learning takes place and it doesn’t matter what the outside looks like. I’m very happy I chose this school for my smart boy, definitely recommend!

I sent both of my children here based upon strong recommendations on a specific teacher. That teacher was abruptly removed from the school this week. When concerned parents learned that it was due to an aggressive child placed in the class, we had questions. This child physically harmed another in the class and the teacher reacted by removing him. The owner who came on site to answer our questions was arrogant and condescending, and ended up acting aggressively himself toward another parent. We learned that the parents of the child hurt were not notified about the incident but this teacher was let go. The aggressive child had acted out and struck other teachers in the past. This was his first day in the new classroom. Look elsewhere. I was unimpressed with the school administration from the beginning, but these actions are completely inexcusable. They own several daycares in the area. Find a different school, daycare or camp.

My highest recommendation! Strong, because I have entrusted this location with my son for over 9 years! It’s a family run business, with amazing staff, and for the 9 years we have been going, they are constantly and CONSTANTLY reinvesting in thier business. It have been an amazing journey to see where they have come from in the last 9 years and I can only imagine where they will be in 9 more!

On a recommendation from a friend and fellow stay at home father my wife and I decided to send our oldest child here for preschool. It has only been a month or so into the school year and I cannot say enough about this place. The teachers we have are just the best you can imagine. They care so much for the kids they have in the class. The administration is exactly the same. One day my daughter was sent home early from not feeling well and I had to call in the next day because she still didn’t feel well. They new exactly who she was the second I mentioned her name! There are a lot of kids there so that was pretty impressive in my book. If you are looking to send you children to GA Pre K I highly recommend this place. If I was tortured to the brink of death to criticize this place I would have to say it is the parking. That lot is terrible but from what I hear they are stuck with it as they rent it from the shopping mall they are behind. I totally ignore it since their awesomeness overshadows that tiny issue.
