I cannot say enough good about Dr. Katz and her staff!
My husband and I have been blown away by the service, knowledge and technology.
We chose to speak to Dr. Katz for a second opinion for my step-daughter’s orthodontic needs.
Mostly because Dr. Katz’s reviews were simply outstanding.
Her mother was told by a different orthodontist that the child needed braces immediately. Child is 13 years old and has a beautiful smile. Not perfect, but beautiful. And child does not want braces.
So, we went for a consultation (FREE), and were amazed by the technology and modern new ways of moving teeth in a shorter time, less painful application/​fewer visits and moreover, the honesty and integrity shown to us.
Dr. Katz and her assistant spent a good hour reviewing the pictures, taking measurements and answering our questions.
To top it all off, the proforma invoice for services was about 40% less than the orthodontist who said it was an urgent situation.
Dr. Katz explained that she usually waits until all 4 of the 12 year molars are in completely. Child has only 2, barely erupted. Hence no hurry.
Bottom line… she is professional, innovative, and efficient!

If you have money to burn, then this is the doctor for you. Prices are way above other comparable doctors around town. Location is probably the cause for her astronomical prices. Everything in East Cobb costs more, because that is where all the million dollar homes are. My dental insurance did not list her, because of her sky high prices. Her specialty is putting braces on all the little kiddies that the wealthy parents bring in. There are numerous other doctors in town who do as good or better a job than Dr Katz and for much cheaper. Shop around, unless you have money to burn. Also, be warned, if you are going in for what you think is a free evaluation, guess again, you will get charged anyway. All these people think of is money.
