I’ve been to a fair share of these frozen yogurt shops but this one is honestly not the greatest of them all. I walked in and saw these huge log chairs and tables that made it feel like I was(as the Unilocaler below me said) «in the mountains.» It was weird to see trendy colors on the wall and then. that. Definitely out of place. There was an interactive chalkboard where I saw people voting on their favorite flavors, which was a cool idea. So, getting down to the nitty gritty — I grabbed a bucket(they only had one size, but it was made of recycled eco material, so thumbs up for that!) and I walked along the wall to check out their flavors. They were definitely«Americanized» to cater to the population and less for authenticity. I always, always get the«original» flavor, which is tart, to compare between frozen yogurt shops, but they didn’t even have it. Major disappointment. :(I debated between the mango/peach and cookies&crème and decided to get both(even though I knew the combination wouldn’t taste very good) but the cookies&crème was all liquid! There was no indicator saying that it wasn’t ready yet or anything. Bleh. threw that out and started fresh and got just the mango/peach. They had typical toppings from fruit to sprinkles and candy to my personal favorite… mochi! Again, I was disappointed, for the mochi was hard and stale. My friend and I paid and left. I ended up throwing mine away. such a waste. I’m being a little generous and giving this place two stars — one star for cleanliness, and another star for the nice little chit chat I had with the owner.

Alright here is the diddy, folks. I’ve been to quite a few different places like this lately and honestly, I love the method of producing a nice refreshing treat by the bucket. I’ll tell you ladies and gents what makes this one stand out worth writing a bit about: I like the walls. I like the chairs and the ”in the mountains” atmosphere inside the joint. Also, the entertainment area for watching Netflix on a big screen is a VERY nice touch! The fruit is rather descent and I’ve gotten two smoothies for a friend and me and we both feel that they are pretty darn good! The only thing that could have earned more stars in my opinion is a lack of phoning at the counter on the employee’s part, despite how quiet it was. That’s always something that can be considered. So! Good product, good tasting yogurt, and a GREAT Groupon deal if you are on the mart with that! Get you and a friend both a treat on the cheap!

I had hoped that I would enjoy this place as much as I have TCBY over the years. The frozen yogurt here is awful. I really like the self-service style of the place but the taste leaves a great deal to be desired. The establishment was clean, the staff were average, but the product they sell is not worth buying. I recommend popping into the Kroger next door and picking up a pint of Ben & Jerry’s instead!

I’ve been to Yogolycious twice now and both visits have been great. The staff are always friendly, the location is always spotless, and the frozen yogurt is great. I’ve had the peanut butter, the cake batter, the red velvet, and the cheesecake flavors and all were excellent. There is an awesome selection of toppings and the prices are very reasonable. I’ve also found coupons in the Valpak thing I get in the mail, which makes the prices that much better. Overall I REALLY like this place!

Two stars is the utmost I can Yogolycious Frozen Yogurt. These places open up all over town and expect to throw up a cool catchy name and put six or seven machines in there and not give any thought to what product they are using. I am a huge fan of these kind of establishments. It is a win-win situation for the customer and business owner to open these places. In terms of the customer gets to add exactly how much product(yogurt) and toppings to their cup as they want and then the yogurt shop sells it by weight. The customer is in control as to how much they spend. THENUMBER1MISTAKETHAT A YOGURTSHOPCANMAKEISTOHAVEBADTASTINGPRODUCT. I don’t mean to be rude and never want to blatantly be mean, but this is the 2nd shop that I have been to that has not put any thought into how to run one of these businesses. I sampled 3 flavors and was not impressed by any of them. I then got a cup and put 4 different flavors in that cup so I could really see what the taste was like of their other flavors. I did not make a mixture of all the flavors and expect it to taste well, I put each one in its own area in the cup and I just wanted to throw it in the garbage. I thought to myself, «I would not come here if this yogurt was free and all you can eat». When a product is good, the customer will not mind paying for it. They could charge more if it was good. I would say I sampled or purchased 60% of what they had to offer, I was not impressed at all. I will go back later in the year and see if they have improved. I encourage everyone to go and see for yourself, but I am not sure you will return and be a repeat customer. This business may make some money just because of the novelty of «do it yourself» yogurt, but I do not expect them to be around for the long run, unless they make some big changes.
