I’ve been going to Dr. Hood for several years now for everything from routine cleanings, creating custom mouth guards to wisdom teeth extractions. Great no-​fluff yet gentle dentist with great assistants. Dr. Hood takes care of everything himself – not his assistants, students or amateurs.
Free parking at Vons supermarket across the street – otherwise the building has an expensive lot that charges a few dollars per 15 minutes.

When I recently upgraded my insurance, I was happy that I would be able to return to Dr. Hood because he was so great when I was a teenager and has done extensive work on my teeth as well as my mother and sister’s teeth. So when I went back a couple of months ago I was shocked. He was short with me, rushed me out, brushed off my questions, and was not the Dr. Hood that I remembered. Then I got a bill in the mail for my 20 min appointment. I will never return to him again! He seemed more focused on other things rather than his patients.
