IHOP

Very bad customer service. Been waiting for someone to take my order for 20 mins. Had to leave to get to work and spent the whole morning on an empty stomache. DO NOT go here unless you want to spend at least 2-​hours waiting around.

the blintzes are not ‘just’ sweet cream –nope they add horrible cottage cheese! they were awful. when I asked about it not being listed on the menu they said ‘no, it’s not’ and did not care. they were disgusting! the rest of the food was just okay — i mean how bad can you mess up pancakes? as well, there were so many open tables and we were seated by a bussing station –the noise was awful. the server was nice and that’s the only reason this is getting a 2 rating.

Ended up at 3am in this IHOP after a night out in Santa Monica. I was so drunk I left my iPhone on the table when we left. The next morning I didn’t even remember we went there! I tracked my phone through the iCloud app (Find iPhone). I wasn’t even expecting my phone to appear on the app, guessing someone must have grabbed it, turned it off and replaced it with a new SIM card by then… But to my surprise, this IHOP location appeared! I drove up there, entered and asked the manager if he knew anything about a missing phone. He quickly asked a waitress and together started checking their drawers to see if any of the staff from the night before had left it there, AND THEY DID!!! They handed out my phone and said: «is this it?». I LOVE YOU IHOP! Thank you for your honesty! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!

I went back after an apology from the very nice owner and decided to give it another shot. The food was a ton better and all my stuff was clean. The only thing was it took quite a while to get our food, even though it was really quiet and I was in a rush to get surfing!

Terrible service. Over a 10 minute wait for the server when the restaurant is near empty.

I don’t know how these guys only have 3 stars! Really friendly staff and my kids love getting breakfast here. The kitchen area is a little disorganized and their restroom needed some attention when we were there last. But as far as IHOP’s go, this one’s pretty good.

Very polite staff and also a very nice establishment. Usually very quick to prepare you food. Would recommend.

I ate at this location Sunday November 1 at 4pm. I went with a friend. I had scrambled eggs hash two assuage and pumpkin pancakes. (The same breakfast I had the Monday prior) however this time I was so sick I was up all night and I’m still not able to eat the next day. It’s the only
Thing I ate all day so I know this meal was what made me sick. I can’t figure out how I got food poisoning. The only
Thing I can guess is they are not properly cleaning the grill and reusing the oil. My friend had the fiesta scramble and he felt nauseous also but did not get as sick as I did. I do not think I will ever come back here again. Even though it was my go to late night place.

Thought wait was gonna be long since there were lots of ppl outside waiting but to our surprise we were seated quickly. Food was good, Nicole (our server) was attentive and happy. Rigo (food-​line prep) was on it!

My husband and I are new to the neighborhood. We were at this IHOP once last weekend and this weekend.
From past experiences (at other breakfast spots), we realize that IHOP can be crazy in the mornings on the weekend if you go too late (say after 9am). We went at 7 and 8 am, the restaurant was somewhat empty and we had great service. The guy that waited on us was very attentive and friendly.
Our food came out very quickly and was tasty.
I have been to some bad IHOP restaurants (hello IHOP of NorCal), but this one seems on it’s game.

It’s ihop always the same! Love the fact that it’s open 24 hours. Weekend mornings are packed so plan accordingly. Only bad part is that the parking lot is really small. Other than that it’s IHOP always the same :)

Horrible service!
Our server didn’t even introduce herself and we had to have another take our orders. We were not given water or coffee until we had to flag someone down after 10 min. We got the wrong drinks, then had to wait much longer than other guests for our food which came out piece meal and incorrect. We were not assured or checked in on about our late food or incomplete meals. Everything we had to ask for and prompt our server. We were only a table of four (this wasn’t some huge party).
We complained to the manager who seemed mostly indifferent to us. really, much more disappointed in iHop than I ever expected to be which is saying something…

Stephanie the bomb service and help and thoughtfulness and patience and I guess her coworkers echo this. My takeout order was supreme.

After having somebody from management reach out to apologize, I was expecting things to improve on my next visit. Unfortunately things have gotten worse.
After being seated, we didn’t receive ANY service for almost 20 minutes (we had to waive down another server to take our order). We then proceeded to have a meal plagued with flaws ranging from giving us the wrong food and drinks, to having one person receive some of their food, while the rest of our group was given a plate of hash browns. What should have been a 30 minute meal turned into almost 2 hours, solely due to an absentee server and an absurd amount of mistakes.
It got to a point where we spoke to the manager about the lack of care and effort, and he did offer a discount on our meal, but quite frankly the look on his face was a clear representation of the motto at this IHOP — they simply don’t care, nor are they willing to try and care.

This review is a little late but I felt I needed to report on this restaurant.
My husband, sister, brother in law and our two small children went here recently late at night for dinner. It was late so I didn’t expect the service to be all that great as I know the staff would most likely be tired.
My experience was horrible to say the least. When seated the hostess sat us directly next to a table that was full of throw up and literally expected us to eat our food there (really). We should have honestly walked out at that moment but we decided to stay and just move our table to a further table. When the waitress came over I told her why we moved and she said «oh yeah sorry about that» with no recognition to even call a busboy or someone to clean it up. To make matters worse when I walked into the ladies room so I could change my daughter’s diaper (who is only 2 months old) the large stall containing the changing table had throw up all over the floor. Looked like the same throw up from the table that we almost sat near. So I was basically forced to change my daughters diaper at our table since there was no where for me to change her.
We waited about 20 minutes for our food if not longer. Sounded like someone was miserable back there, we heard about 4 dishes break several different times. Our server was very sweet though. That’s one thing I can say. She did the best for what she had. I actually felt bad for her.
I came to this restaurant one time before and it was packed. With only one cook and one server at midnight. Poor girl was running around trying to be a hostess, cashier and server all at once to a full restaurant: they always seem to be under staffed. I told myself that time that I would never come back. I worked at an IHOP for 3 years while I was in college back in the day and I know for a fact it would never have been allowed to run in these conditions. If the health department even knew about these conditions I’m sure they could be at risk of closing.

Now I know IHOP isn’t known for their outstanding quality or customer service skills but some things I just expect when I walk into a restaurant such as cleanliness.
We made a late night trip to IHOP. We were seated at our table towards the far back of the restaurant. There were some loud children in the restaurant and we had a sleeping infant with us so we requested to be seated further away from the noise. Little to our knowledge we would be seated at a table directly across from where someone had vomited underneath their table. Left completely unattended to. None of the employees seemed to care that it was even there for that matter. Not even an attempted to conceal it. Disgusting!!! So I guess they assumed we were suppose to eat our food across from that? Us being to lazy to go to another restaurant we just decided to get up and take it upon ourselves to move to another table.
The ladies restroom also had vomit everywhere that had been left there. To top off of the whole experience our food took over a half hour to come to our table. By the time our food finally came and the whole experience I was completely disgusted and lost my appetite. The only upside was that our waitress was extremely polite.
Never again will I go back to this IHOP.

This is your place.
Food is fast and good

This location recently expanded. That’s great — less of a wait to get seated, but I’m not sure they have adequately increased the staff to accommodate the extra space. We waited about 10 minutes after we sat down before flagging down a server who wasn’t ours. Ours finally came and while she was very pleasant, it took her a lot of time to get our drinks and we had to ask twice for refills of water, as well as for utensils after our food arrived.
As for the food — the scramble I ordered had slimey cheese and the pancakes were not thoroughly cooked. My daughter was not impressed with hers either.
After we left, we decided that next time the desire to go to IHOP struck us, we should remember this experience and go someplace else.

Great for 2:30am munchies with awesome friends when you guys are shooting around a million zillion stories at Santa Monica Pier and then decide to continue shooting around a million zillion stories outside of the friggin’ cold.
Coffee tasted great (surprisingly) – I had about three cups and felt swell and zingy after. Ordered the chicken strips and fries – came out promptly along with my friends’ food. Everything was hot and delicious (and great for 2:30am munchies.)
Waitress was super duper nice and smiled at us, and asked us if we needed anything periodically (enough to feel cared about, not enough to annoy us.) Wonderful service for a place that actually has people in it at a ridiculous hour (it’s not empty!)
