Dee was wonderful! Very attentive and great attitude. Food was good and my man was happy so I’m happy. I was very pleased with the service from the staff.

Another One of my fav mex — great for a snack, quick or much bigger lunch ! Fair portions and super fresh all the time ! I love their side of black beans and their kids size burrito — big enough for 2 meals even.

What can we expect from a taco joint — maybe not waiting in line for 11 minutes while cashier attempts to open a bottle of Gnarly Head wine! Get it together!

I’d skip it if I were you. Quality is lacking at this point. I haven’t been to a Wahoo’s in years mainly because I moved in the valley several years ago. I thought I’d stop by on my way home because I saw one of their salads show up on my Instagram feed by an amateur Paleo chef that I really like. Looked good and I needed something low carb and high protein. I couldn’t find the exact Paleo thing on the menu so I went ahead and ordered their Wahoo salad thing with spicy fish and no rice. Nothing great about their cilantro lime dressing. The salad was insanely bland and dry. But the worst of it was the fish. It was incredibly overcooked that it was difficult to slice with a fork. As a result the fish was dry and parched.

Okay food. Came here when chipolte across the street was to long of a line. Pretty basic and dull burrito but does have tvs and beer. Maybe the tacos are better but i thought it was average.

Not really up to participate with the likes of competing fish taco joints. I’ve had fish tacos, sandwiches, etc. The onion rings are ok. The beans and rice are pretty good. The fish didn’t really have good flavor and was kind of dry. Just can’t wrap my head around why this establishment continues to put out unfavorable food. Not really interested in coming back.

I have never eaten at this location even though it’s close to work in Marina Del Rey, but I have eaten at the Fullerton location before because it’s near my house and I must say this wahoos is horrible. I ordered the fish tacos original with black beans and white rice. Can you say Bland, Bland, Bland? It had no flavor whatsoever. I could have gone to subway next door and had a footlong for cheaper with way more flavor. They could have added something to it, some salt at a minimum. I felt like I was eating cabbage tacos. The only sliver of hope were the black beans, other than that I don’t see what else is going for them. To top it off the food took a good twenty minutes for my to go order and the place was dead. Jissela didn’t look too pleased to take my order because I guess that means she had to work. Im never coming here again even with a free entrée coupon.

I normally refrain from reviewing chain restaurants, but Wahoo’s feels like much more than a chain. The vibe is groovy, hip, and surfer-esque, with skater stickers plastered all over the booth and surfboards decorating the restaurants. The menu hovers above the check-out line, and is simple to follow. Customer service is extremely friendly and on par with the type of attitude you get from local shops. The food here is inexpensive and pretty standard and reminiscent of Baja Fresh, where your order of burritos/tacos/salads with a protein of your choosing comes with a side of salsa. But speaking of salsa, the Chips and Salsa are out of this world! They are not complimentary, but the chips are still warm from the oven and not at all oily. Dipping a warm tortilla chip into a cold chunk of salsa? It’s as fresh as you can get! Definitely one of the simple pleasures in life.

I went here because I had amazing food in the Fullerton location. Big disappointment in the Marina del Rey location! I ordered the same item(kale salad with fish, mildly spiced) and I can’t believe how bad this Wahoo’s is! First, it took for ever to get our food even though there were only a few people in there! The size of the salad was roughly half as big as the one in Fullerton. The fish was not spiced well and it had a bad aftertaste. And the craziest thing: there was no kale in the kale salad!!! Only other leafy greens. And they forgot to add Tortilla strips. I will never go to this Wahoo’s location again! Please purchase food prep lessons from the Fullerton chef!

I am a huge fan of their outer-reef burrito. The food is fresh, the staff is friendly, and the service quick. Not the most authentic Mexican food out there, but yummy none-the-less.

I was slightly disappointed because this place was not so tasty at all what so ever. went and got a spicy chicken salad. and it was very bland. From the chicken to the beans. The salad was very dry even the dressing didn’t help it and they gave literally a spoon full of chicken and rice with beans. maybe I got the wrong thing IDK but I didn’t enjoy it much

We got a coupon to go check out Wahoo’s Fish Tacos from Ciclavia. To our surprise, it gave us a complete meal which included a Taco, beans and rice. I hadn’t come to Wahoo’s for quite some time but I have to say that it not only tasted great it felt healthy. P/S: During our dinner, we decided to also try out a chicken bowl. To be honest, the ingredients were pretty similar to what got in the Taco Meal but the dish was pretty salty. So if you’re sensitive to salt, I’d still with the Taco plate.

Solid fish tacos and restaurant. I tried the veggie bonzai taco and couldn’t stop at one. The tacos were seasoned with teriyaki sauce. It was delicious. Service was fantastic as well! All the food is fresh. Wahoos is known as a regional chain started I believe in Hawaii. Just great seafood food where you can also get some chicken and meat dishes if you’re craving that as well.

When I pass Wahoo’s I instantly thing of their banzai burrito and have to stop to get one. This is a nice location, great service, love the vibe here. Super clean and relaxed, feel good food. Portions are on the small size, I always go with the banzai burrito with grilled fish, brown rice and black beans and a side of their cilantro dressing, too good! $ 9 for a burrito half the size of most others is steep and I am always tempted to order another, but the quality and value is there, plus the unique twist of almost Asian flavors from the veggies with the fish is so good and keeps me coming back every time!

Don’t ever order from here when you’re in a rush. It’s always on the slower side. I thought they were being really accommodating to me and making one of the burrito’s for me in a bowl and what they gave me was so laughable, the waiter had to apologize and«talk» to the cooks. I put talk in «‘s because they didn’t speak any English and the waiters couldn’t communicate properly. It was fairly entertaining to watch except i was in a hurry. I will never customize again. I do however, love that they take the app and give you points towards the future meals. It definitely keeps me coming back.

Stopped by today. Ordered food. Noticed what looked like a urinal cake on top of some hot sauces in a plastic bin in the food storage area near the kitchen entrance. Looked closer. It really was a urinal cake on top of hot sauces, which had very loose saran wrap covering each open bottle. I asked the manager why there was a urinal cake in the food storage. His response: «Oh it’s new, it’s not even opened.» An employee then picked it up to show me that it was, indeed, new and not even opened. I explained that seeing something like that in a restaurant makes me call into question the cleanliness & storage methods of the entire establishment. He stared at me and said nothing else. So much for trying to be a friend to a fellow restaurant biz. If you don’t know that you shouldn’t keep bathroom supplies in food areas, I just can’t trust you to make sure you’re serving sanitary food. I ended up throwing away the burrito that I ordered and going next door to Subway. Too gross.
