Came here for the first time today and it was amazing. The service was very nice and attentive! I’d definitely recommend their teriyaki chicken plate!

Keoki’s is my «Go-To» place for Great Food that takes me to the Islands. Don’t be in a hurry — because the food is worth the wait. If the line is out the door, don’t be surprised. The combo plate with Katsu, Pulled Pork and Mac… Yum !!! …but you won’t go wrong with anything from the menu. Enjoy and Mahalo.

Awesome food! Real authentic Hawaiian dishes at really reasonable price. You can tell they take their time preparing and cooking the food! Their combination plate is the way to go, you get a taste of 3 of their authentic Hawaiian food. I was surprise there is an authentic Hawaiian place in a small town like marina. Service really friendly! Danielle super friendly and always making sure we are good. We come here every Sunday after church!

My wife and I just rolled into town for the night on our way to Nor Cal. We decided to check Unilocal to see what was good after a long day of sightseeing. We found this little place and we decided to give it a whirl. We are so glad we did because it was delicious! Great portions, great price, and thank you to Danielle for the GREAT customer service. This place is a gem!

I went before and the elder Hawaiian lady was great and the food was good too. Well I just brought my kids in there to get some shaved ice with ice cream. The younger girl in there told me there wasn’t any ice cream so I thought that was ok, just order the shaved ice. She matter of factly just stared at me and told me again she don’t have ice cream. I don’t like attitudes and I can’t let that slide even tho I’m an islander and love supporting my locals. Thank you for opening your restaurant in Marina and helping the city grow. Mahalo nui. How much does service matter to you? Find out for yourself.

My husband is adventures and discovered this place. It’s very small, but I was so impressed and blown away with not only there FRESHFOOD but there wonderful friendly costumer service. My new favorite place 2 go now. Highly recommend it !!!

Eat like a King or Queen with the size of these delicious plates. Keep an open mind and try something new from the last time you order.

If I could chose to rate this business with zero stars, I would. For the past week I have been trying to finalize a catering order and never received a call back. I was able to finally get ahold of someone and in the middle of my sentence she had explained she had a line out the door, could not take my order, she was extremely rude and hung up on me. My opinion the value of service is much more valuable that a plate of food. I would never recommend anyone to dine here because they are«way too busy» to provide quality service.

Probably the best Hawaiian BBQ in the MB! So yummy and for a decent price! I had the mixed plate with chicken katsu, Kalua pork, and teriyaki beef and it came with a side of rice and macaroni salad! I also tried the spam musubi! I loved everything and will definitely be back for more!

The BBQ beef plate is the best! I love going here. I can’t wait till they are open longer because I always think to get their food after they are closed.

Omg, Do I need to say more? This place I found through a co-worker because he said it had good reviews on Unilocal. And, Damn, Daniel, this place is off the chain. They have no-chill with the food, it is so good(can stress this enough). The fried chicken = bomb White Rice = perfect Spam = I wanted to slap my co-worker for introducing me to such deliciousness. The Mac Salad = awesome The place is so friendly too. They make you feel like family. Anyways, Pros=best Hawaiian food in Monterey County by far. Cons=small and with one cook can take sometime at busy hours(worth the wait!!!)

This place is amazing! I am hesitant to write this review, because if it gets too busy, I won’t have a seat! I had the teriyaki beef and my friend had the chicken katsu… we finished with the shaved ice… delicious! They also have cards… after 10 plates, you receive a free one. A new go to for lunch time!

A must come to when your in Marina. Auntie and the young lady in the front give you the best customer service, really make you feel at home. Definitely the Aloha sprit. Service is fast and friendly. If it’s lunch or dinner rush hour I’d call ahead or plan on waiting. But would wait any amount of time for this authentic Hawaiian food! It really hits my taste buds. Definitely worth the wait! When I come I always order a mix plate and mix it up each time. Everything on the menu is good. My favorites are the wings, Teri chicken and teriyaki beef. Plan to wait 15 – 20 minutes if you order wings. Everything is cooked fresh and at the time of order. I always get a shave ice or banana cream pie when they have it. I wish they were opened on the weekends. I could bring my kids and husband. Hopefully they will get more seating soon. But if your looking for some quick take out and friendly customer service this is your spot. Thank you George for bringing your cooking here.

2STARSBECAUSE I CAN’T DO1 ½. I ONLYLIKETHEMACSALADANDKATSU! My fourth time here since the grand opening and honestly, not enough food for the price you pay. This time I got the mix plate including: 2 chicken wings. 5 slim pieces of katsu and probably a baby scoop on chicken teriyaki. However, lots of rice and Mac salad. I’ve tried others in the past… didn’t leave a lasting impression besides the katsu and Mac salad. It took 15 – 20 minutes waiting for my food. Either a good thing because it’s fresh? or a bad thing because they’re understaffed and no one wants to wait that long unless it’s a REAL restaurant. I will never know! If you are rushing… GOSOMEWHEREELSE. If you are hungry and want some meat… TRYNOODLEBARRIGHTACROSSTHESTREETORMICHAEL’S BARANDGRILLDOWNTHESTREET. I should have stopped supporting this business after the third time

Marina, CA(Closed on weekends) Lunch: 1. Called in advance(per the recco by the young lady working the front) and gave myself 15 – 20 minutes to get there. 2. Arrived and food was ready and waiting. Seamless approach, grabbed a seat and started to chow. This time ordered: Combo with the 3 most popular meats, Katsu with panko crumbs, wings and teriyaki chicken. — Katsu was good, liked the Panko crumbs and the sauce was legit too. — Wings good, meat tender, slightly sweet. Note — Hawaiian food not big on Hot Sauce etc… — Chicken Teriyaki — BOMB, tender, flavorful on its own without lathering a ton of sauce like some places may. — SUPERTIP: ½ n ½ Mac n Potato salad. Both are delicious. — Scoop of white rice. — 2 Spam Musubi with Furikake… FURIKAKE!!! So good! — No Restroom at all. Even for customers. — This place IS the real deal. — Japanese owner from Hawaii. Now it all makes sense as to why everything tastes good. — Closed on weekends, typically for catering or local festies where they showcase Shaved Ice. — Breakfast served #Allday — Large Party Platters and Catering available.

Danielle is very friendly whether you go into Keoki’s or you order on the phone. She speaks clearly and is very helpful when I have any questions. I always get the Kahlua pork lunch plate with potato salad and an extra side of rice. It is so delicious! The pork melts right in your mouth and it’s moist and flavorful. I am not usually a fan of potato salad but I can’t get enough of the potato salad here. I guess it’s because they don’t have a lot of carrots in it(I don’t like carrots). The white rice is good, too. You’d be surprised at how other restaurants mess up simple rice. Keoki’s rice is just right!

People think that once you leave Hawaii that you’ll never get true authentic Hawaiian food ever again. That is simply not true. Who knew right in the heart of Marina that there lay a hidden gem right dab in a strip mall. At first glance it looks like a small hole in the wall nothing fancy but inside is where the magic happens. Greeted by one of the friendliest women I have ever came across I found out that the owner George(her brother) was born and raised in Hawaii(BTW Keoki means George in Hawaiian) and has over 20 years experience cooking Hawaiian plates so you know that you’re getting from the best! Glancing through the menu I knew I had to try the Keoki’s Chicken Wings($ 9) one of their best selling items. Anybody that knows me knows that if it’s fried, karaage or tatsuage I’m down for it! Crispy deep fried goodness doused in a secret sauce this is a dish that will keep me coming back for more. I also ordered their Loco Moco($ 8.50) ½ pound of delicious homemade hamburger patty smothered in gravy topped with 2 eggs cooked to your liking and if I already wasn’t already stuffed I would’ve eaten that all over again! My son had the mix plate and said it was so good that he wanted to live here. Lucky for me I am only 15 minutes away. My second time visiting I ordered their Fridays special Lau Lau($ 14) Pork and fish wrapped in taro leaves and wrapped again in Ti leaves then steamed to perfection. Hawaiian food at its best is an understatement. Noticing all the yummy delicious items that they serve such as Poke, Musubi, shave ice with over 10 different flavors to choose from and Manapua I knew my journey back to this wonderful establishment would not come to an end and just like the Wonder Twins, extraordinary and powerful this dynamic duo can conquer anything! With great food and wonderful service all I can say is Mahalo A hui hou kakou(which means thank you until we meet again) in Hawaiian.

Tbh I’ve had better, but the food here is alright. I got the mix plate to try several things on the menu. — Katsu: 10/10, so crispy and good! + the katsu sauce is bomb. — Wings: 9/10, pretty good. Not very crispy like traditional wings but they taste lightly of teriyaki. — Kalua pork: 4/10, I wasn’t a fan at all. It tastes very smoky and greasy, and didn’t have very much flavor. With katsu sauce it was better, but I probably wouldn’t get it again. — Mac salad: 7/10, it’s your standard Hawaiian-style Mac salad. For $ 10, it’s a good deal, but next time I’ll probably stick with a katsu or wing plate rather than getting the mix plate.

I am originally from Hawaii and the plate lunches here are better than ones I’ve had in Hawaii. I moved to Monterey last year and eating at Keoki’s was like being home again. We came for dinner tonight after reading a review about this place in the Monterey County Weekly best of Monterey Bay Food and Drink magazine. We were not disappointed. We got 5 plates: kalbi, chicken katsu, teri beef, bento w/Teri chicken, Teri beef & Kalua pig, and mixed plate w/Kalua pig, Teri beef, and Keoki’s wings. Everything, including the Mac salad was awesome!!! Lots of Unilocalers love the Keoki wings and they should because they are garlic chicken! If you like Mitsuken or Sugoi garlic chicken, you’ll like the Keoki wings. The kalbi was so ono. I’m a Mac salad snob but this one is soooo good! And they have Hawaiian Sun drinks! Can’t go wrong with Guava. The place is small but the service is great. Can’t wait to come back!
