When my husband’s job changed we realized we were going to have to move our two-year old from his prior«school» to someplace closer to home. It was recommended we check out Miss Barbara’s and I am forever grateful. The curriculum in this program is always appropriate, I get monthly calendars of the main themes, areas of focus, events, and crafts. They go on field trips to cute, fun locations, and they have special events on the site, as well. I have been particularly impressed by the staff. All of the main teachers have been there for 15 years or more, which I love. The teachers seem to genuinely love their jobs, which really shows in their level of dedication to their classes. My son can be a bit of a handful, and they are great with him. I highly recommend this center!!!

My 2yr old son attends Miss Barbara’s. This is an excellent place to send your children. They accept children starting at 2 years of age. My son has been going since he turned 2 and he will turn 3 in November. They have 3 teachers. The first teacher your child will have is Miss Margarita(The Butterflies-toddler class), She is an excellent teacher. My son has learned so much from her. They have a different topics each week and they start learning their numbers and alphabet. They do a lot of arts and crafts and take field trips. They even take class photos and individual photos as well. Once they are 3 and potty trained they move up to Miss Dina(The Ladybugs-Pre-school class). With Miss Dina they continue their education and once they are ready for Pre-K they will be taught by Miss Chris. Miss Barbara’s is located in a nice neighborhood and has been around for 40+ years. The school is ran by a very competent staff and all of the teachers are wonderful. The price is very reasonable for the quality of education your child is getting. They are open from 7:30 am to 6pm Mon-Friday. They take major holidays off and are closed on the weekend. They do have one in service day in august to allow the teachers to prepare for the new class and for the pre-k class to graduate and move on to kindergarten. Your child can either go a half day in the morning or afternoon or a full day. You can either go 2,3, or 4 – 5 days a week. They make it easy to work around your schedule. You can pay the tuition on a weekly basis or monthly. They have Halloween, Christmas and other holiday parties. By far the best place around for your child to get a great start on their education.
