OMG… We bought some pasta Friday at MPC farmers market — I’m eating it now in a home made bolognese sauce and wow just WOW. Recommend. Nothing like fresh!!!

After eating this pasta you’ll never be able to eat dried out prepackaged grocery store pasta again. I recently made some rigatoni with a tasty sauce but the noodles were still the star of the dish. They also have wonderful customer service. They returned my call quickly when I contacted them and were extremely helpful. I will definitely be stopping by their booth at MPC’s farmers markets every Friday morning from now on!

YUM! Just bought some linguine from them at Aptos’ farmers market. Delicious! Will definitely buy again… and again… and again!

My Pensi pasta pick of the day: fresh ravioli, perfectly prepared and generously filled with smoked salmon, then paired with sundried tomato cream sauce and topped with a sprinkle of fresh parmesan… need I say more?

My mother(visiting) and I saw their booth and decided to give them a try — tempted by all the variety of noodles. Comparing to any dry noodle is pointless — like comparing candy to sand. I have eaten pasta at plenty of upscale(ehem… EXPENSIVE) restaurants and the texture alone makes this worth it. Con? Because it’s fresh, it doesn’t keep long. I use this as an excuse to share with friends so they like this con. You can freeze it and it still cooks great, just slightly less great. So, buy it fresh and eat it fresh. For as long as I live in Monterey, I’ll always keep some in my freezer/fridge. buy it, try it, and enjoy. My mother lives in LA and she’s going to make me mule some down any time I go to LA because she too has not found any pasta this good(and she’s eaten better and more food than I have).

YUM! Butternut squash ravioli?! Mushroom Gnocci? Red pepper homemade fresh pasta? Its a dream come true. They have over 20 varieties of fresh pastas and frozen ravioli, not to mention homemade sauces, olive spreads, hummus, and Roasted elephant garlic… amazing. And to top it off, at the Santa Cruz Farmers Markets, they send friendliest vendor to work, Beth, who is just lovely. Check em out– you’ll get hooked.
