We have had traditional style Mexican foods from all over in many states and cities. The food at Casa Brava is the best we ever had. We had the Fajita(Steak) Lunch special the other day and it was excellent. The steak was cooked properly and not dry or over cooked. The wraps were just right and not over cooked. The chopped onions and tomatos were fresh and the shredded cheese was fresh also. The chips served before tha meal was hot and crisp and the salsa was perfect. The staff were friendly, polite and professional. Overall this place gets 5 stars, I wish I had the ability to give them more. All this for less than $ 20.00 and that was with a $ 4.00 tip.

It is true, Casa Brava does have the best chips and salsa in Marion. However, I have had a hard time finding anything else on the main menu that I like. Almost everything I have ordered has tasteless finely ground hamburger as its base(nachos, chimichanga). The only entrée I can recommend is the Taco’s Tulum(tilapia tacos) dish and even those seem to vary from time to time.

Great place to eat. Food is delicious, service is fast, prices are reasonable and the décor is up to date and on trend. The restrooms are immaculate. Love this place.

Excellent food and great prices. I worry about stopping in for Mexican while on a road trip, but I was convinced to give it a try. The two of us ate for under $ 15 and enjoyed decently sized portions and tasty treats. Bathrooms were clean and service was quick enough. We got our food within 10 minutes of ordering. I’m not even from Indiana, but I’d consider stopping back by if I happened to be in the area.

Awesome food eat there at least once a week with my family. Every Tuesday I make my husband stop by on his way home and pick us up chips and salsa to go. Great great food.

In Marion this weekend for a basketball tournament. Craving Mexican and found this place on Unilocal. What a disappointment! If you want tasteless and unauthentic Mexican food, this is the place for you. If you want real Mexican food, look elsewhere. Just don’t know if there’s one such place here in Marion:(Never posted a review on Unilocal before but today’s experience did it for me and my family. Zero stars!!!

What kind of Mexican restaurant does not serve Horchata??? The waiters were friendly, a little too friendly… but okay. However they did make us feel like we needed to rush and hurry up and order. It was our first time in this restaurant and we only come to visit family here in Indiana, every couple years, so we don’t know much about the area but didn’t feel too welcomed. Not sure if I’d go back.

I had the seafood soup, and it was a very good deal for the quantity of food, and was pretty tasty overall, but the quality of the seafood wasn’t especially great(seemed like it had been sitting in the soup for a while). The service wasn’t especially good: the waitress kept nearly spilling water on my dining companion’s phone, and they brought my meal way after his(maybe 10 or 15 minutes later). One weird thing that keeps bugging me, that I also mentioned on my review of La Charreada: I went to La Charreada a few days before I went to Casa Brava, and both places seem to have the same menu. Down to the descriptions of the items(e.g., «on the lighter side, try our three grilled fish tacos…» when describing the Tacos Tulum). Thinking maybe they are sister restaurants, I asked the waitress at Casa Brava if they were related to any other restaurants in town, and she said no. I don’t know if the recipes are the same, but I find it unsettling that two unrelated restaurants in the same town are using the same menu.

This is one of the best Mexican food places I have ever been to! The service is great, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is pleasant. I would recommend any of the quesadillas or enchiladas. Fantastic restaurant!

My wife and I shared the Carnitas. It was plenty of food for two hungry travelers. Jose took good care of us. The food came out quickly and hot. I’m glad we found this restaurant on Unilocal because several other recommend restaurants in Marion are closed on Sundays.

I’m giving this place a 5star because my overall experience was quite pleasant. Janet was such a nice and friendly waitress :). She always had a smile on! If you are a fan of Mexican food this is a really nice place to go to. Portion size for fajitas is pretty large. Had to share one order. Also, if you have a drink in mind and it’s not on the menu, just ask. Sometimes they are able to make it for you.

I adore this place. Marion is sparse on nicer places to eat and take business clients when they’re in town and Casa Brava fits the bill. The service staff is incredible, the food is delicious, and the prices are INSANELY reasonable. Easily the best chips and salsa in town(on par with la charreada which is their sister store). I love the ambiance of this place and of course the super tasty authentic Mexican cuisine. Very clean and inviting atmosphere. This is really the ONLY place to take business clients to lunch or dinner. Big fan!

I have eaten at Casa Brava many times… live just a few minutes from the restaurant. The food is very good, the atmosphere inviting and the prices reasonable… but a 5??? Come on folks, let be a little more discriminating. There is nothing on this menu that isn’t on another good Mexican restaurant’s menu. The margueritas are good… not phenomenal. The service is excellent… a five for sure. But they need a signature dish that makes this place pop… then, they are a FIVE!

If I’d known they didn’t have a picture, I could have taken one but as it is, I don’t even have leftovers because I’ve already eaten up every last bite of goodness that I brought home. When I was in school in Marion, La Charreadas opened and during this visit, my friend said we should try Casa Brava. I believe it may be run by the same family; the quesadilla reallanas at least seemed as good as I remembered! Everything I had was so yummy and I had a huge portion! I would go back in a heartbeat if I’m back in town.

Can I just say how pleased I am to have found this place in Marion? We are lucky enough to have had authentic, home-cooked Mexican food a few times with some friends, and I am very pleased with how well Casa Brava represents the genre. The salsa is fresh, not too cilantro-heavy, and not too spicy for those who don’t do spicy, but still tasty and with fresh chips. Excellent queso dip — again, milder, but with flavor. Have tried several dishes outside the standard chicken or beef burrito/taco/enchilada list and always been happy. Delicious chile colorado, very good fish tacos and other seafood based dishes, plenty of dishes with some heat from the chorizo or the sauces. Atmosphere is modern and open, though nothing special, and can be a little cramped and public feeling if you get the wrong table. Wait staff if prompt and courteous, and the best ones can give good advice on the menu. Prices are reasonable for this area, especially for the quality of the food. If you like authentic, with a large mix of traditional Tex-Mex dishes and some more unusual authentic ones, you can’t go wrong here.
