I went to Ohio Health– Rome Hilliard in 2011. The wait time for an appointment was very short. I cancelled and appointment with OSU Med because they wanted me to wait 3 months. I saw a mailing in the mailbox of the apartment complex where I lived and telephoned Ohio Health. At first I thought things were going fine, with the blood pressure medication. After time however: it seemed to me it did not lower my readings very much. Dr. Columber. held my head during one appointment, while looking at something in my face. I had been to a Chiropractor in 2011. She did not explain. Then in 2012 Ohio Health moved across Rome Hilliard Road. We were given ample warning via Ohio Health about this move. I had 2 appointments at the new office, and I decided to look for another doctor. At one appointment Dr. Columber let me sit on the exam table at least 20 minutes if not longer while she looked into the computer. She did not any kind of greeting or even ask how I was doing. She did ask if I was working out, at the second appointment which I was not, but I reenrolled at a club soon after. So I went to another doctor with Mount Carmel. They seemed eager to get me as a new patient, but all they did was keep me on the same meds, and they didn’t even give me enough to last till the next appointment. So the Doctor I am with now since 2013 gave me a different Med for High Blood pressure and 2 weeks after taking it, I have not had a bad reading since. I am sickened every time I go somewhere and hear the name Heather Columber chanted at me. I hear this chant in many places and it leaves me with a very negative memory of the times I was a patient of hers. the Doctor and Meds I have now are getting better results and it is a very annoying and unwanted chant that I hear. Especially since she is now up in Marion. Not once as her patient did she ask about me, like my educational level or where I grew up here in Ohio. She seemed really cold as a doctor. And self absorbed. Sorry I guess maybe a male doctor is what I needed. I have had more experienced doctors and I would not recommend Doctor Columber, to another man. She is kind of Gimmicky if you ask me.
