We love Cool Spoons! The Carbondale location was always great and the Marion location is too. Marion is more convenient for us. My granddaughter and I have gone many times this summer. It is clean, the employees are pleasant and there are a wide variety of toppings. Waffle cones and bowls are made fresh there and it smells terrific when they’re making them! They have frozen yogurt, sorbet, gelato and custard to name a few. Flavors change every couple months or so.

WOW! This is the frozen yogurt experience that I was waiting for in Marion. Extra clean and comfortable seating for a long chat and a chalkboard wall for my little guy. Fill your cup with frozen yogurt, gelato (my favorite!), sorbet, and more, with a circulating group of delicious and unique flavors (hello, Belgian pistachio crunch!?) as well as the old favorites (strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate of course) and a big selection of toppings to boot. If you’ve got an extra sweet tooth like my husband, grab a slice of cheesecake or a Caramel apple on your way out, too. Every employee I’ve encountered has been friendly and helpful. Since they opened, we’ve been making weekly family outings here. So long, Dairy Queen… There’s a new dessert shop in town! :) Give Cool Spoons a try — you will not be disappointed.
