You know the restaurant is bad when you can’t even move to the end of the booth without the booth and the table tipping over and spilling the drinks and food(if it was there, but it wasnt), and when the food is OK but makes you have to run to the bathroom constantly in the night for two or three nights… IT’S NOTWORTHIT will not be coming back, waitress was nice and committed to making the drink that she didn’t know how to make but besides that she did not return to the table much and when she did she only refilled the drink after the drink spilled when both the whole table and whole booth tipped and made me fall on the floor, when she gave us our check, and when she gave us our food.

We just had a delicious meal here! We’ve eaten at the Las Salsas in Morganton and it’s great, too. Traveling I-40 in western NC you won’t find a better meal or deal. Our service was superb. We ordered the Steak & Chicken Fajitas and shared it. It was all we could possibly eat! The ice cold Negra Modelo was brought to the table with a very frosty glass… yum! Both of the Las Salsas will now be our restaurants of choice when traveling on I-40. ¡Rico rico exquisito!

Muchas Gracias! Excellent Mexican food. Food was fresh and spiced just right. Service was good. The chip came with a bean dip rather than salsa. I could licked the bowl clean! My only complaint would the size of the booths. They are a bit tight for larger people but there are plenty of tables too. If you want good authentic Mexican, this place fits the bill.

Outstanding! The staff were polite and quick, the food was very tasty, served quickly, and the portions were plentiful. The low prices pushed this to a 5 star for me. The Burrito Pastor was savory and delicious. Well done, folks!

Wowzers! Another great meal. I think they finally caught on that to get more people in the door to taste their delicious foood, that they needed to start doing lunch specials. Today there was a California Burrito($ 7.99) with grilled chicken, steak and shrimp(too many proteins/flavors for mty tastes) and a lunch steak fajita platter($ 5.99). I opted for the latter. My expectations for that price were not high. Again, you’ve been to those places with the sizzling platter that has all those little tough/chewy strips of God only knows what part of the cow. Today there were at least 12 ozs, if not a full pound of sliced carne asada — grilled/charred perfectly and so tender. How they can get a skirt steak so tender without a marinade, I don’t know. Mixed in were red onions, green peppers and sliced zucchini = yum. You also know about the generic rice and beans that go on the plate — almost a restaurant obligation nowadays — super bland and you might take two bites. These rice and beans were awesome– fluffy rice, not over spiced and creamy beans loaded with garlic and cheese. So trip #3 has probably been my best yet. $ 8.37 total including the world’s largest Coke.

On our first trip to this newer restaurant, we were sorely disappointed by the service AND quality of food. Wait staff brought another tables food to our four-top on two occasions because they didn’t know the table numbers … My wife ordered a Fish Taco, a la carte and received a Shrimp Taco. When we pointed it out to the waitress, she questioned my wife on her order and then took away the taco in a huff. We finally received the fish taco twenty minutes later. … Our dinners were served twelve minutes apart on the same order … AND we never received any refills on water until we were ready to leave. Now let’s talk about the poor quality of food. Never have I had refried beans served to me that needed to be eaten with a spoon because they were thinner than the salsa. No beans, just pureed muck on one side of my enchiladas … The Shrimp Enchiladas were swimming in so much cheese, without any sauce that was described on the menu, that you couldn’t taste the shrimp … Canned sliced mushrooms in every enchilada, whether it was shrimp or veggie or chicken … and the Fish Taco that we waited for twenty minutes was breaded, deep fried and so heavily salted to the point of being totally inedible. They advertise as being«authentic» … believe me, they are the farthest thing away from being«authentic». Nothing more than another Americanized pseudo-Mexican restaurant that doesn’t deserve your hard-earned dollar!
