The Marion Popcorn Festival is as good as local festivals can get! Lots of food vendors, plenty of games and entertainment. I went for the 2009 Festival, and it was a very good experience. Going on a Saturday during football season, one would worry about not being able to see the game. No worry — there was a big screen set up for event-​goers wanting to tailgate and enjoy the game! Not only that, but the Festival had Survivor playing on their main stage that night! Great music and sports combined for a fantastic evening. For those with kids — there was an area of the festival set up with all sorts of carnival games and rides set up! This festival seemed to be all about good food and family fun.
