I do not recommend you buy from this place. I Spent 200 plus dollars early August had the plants less than 10 days. 2 plants died and they would not replace them. I drove very far to go to that nursery specifically. Bad business on their part. I would have gotten a lot more plants had I drove back up there to exchange the two that died. I even told the lady on the phone that. guess she doesn’t want my business. Not to mention the pepper plants and tomato plants were covered in tomato hornworms which I am now picking out of the rest of my garden. Too many places that have warranties on their plants now to waste your time here. let them go under with their bad business practices. And poor customer service. Dear Kate W. Did you read your response? The big chain stores give you a warranty to get you in the door so that you will purchase more items. You are exactly right. Makes sense doesn’t it. If a small business can keep you coming back they will not go out of business. I would not expect them to replace everything you purchased from them but to find a happy medium to work with their customers to try and insure that they are happy purchasing products they know will possibly die in a few days. I also know that there are many plants you can cut a piece off stick in some soil and wallah you have a brand new plant therefore they are not losing much to accommodate one new plant to a customer who spent over $ 200 with them. This is the world we live in. I am all for small business but I am also for the customer who is working for minimum wage and cannot afford to waste money that is why we shop at the places that offer warranties. my money is just as valuable as anyone else’s.

This review is to counter balance the one star review on here. I have been buying plants from Schulz for 5 years now, and I have always found the plants to be higher quality and lower prices than the big box stores. The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable. Did I say friendly? The prices for the fertilizer, insecticides, and soils are much higher than the other stores though. If you wait till close to the end of the planting season in the spring, you can get 2 foot tall tomato plants for $ 2, just in time to plant them.
