I just love seeing what bakeries actually turn out to be after entering them in my GPS and just reading about them online. Off the side of the Highway in Marion in a shack(maybe insurance agency, some kind of small office?) my husband like always skeptical of where I am dragging him now we entered the office and saw a little sign cupcakes to the right. In a tiny room was a display case of about 10 different kinds of overgrown and devine looking monster cupcakes! Immediatly I started drooling and contimplating what to get without going too crazy or leaving anything out. Its a mx of actually gorgeous gourmet cupcakes baked by an expert and an extreamly talented homebaker with an eye for beauty. They are ever so slighly overflowing, each one beautiful but slightly different, charming really. She also offers cakepops but I went straight for the cupcakes and got half a dozen. Priced at $ 3 each is fair for this size and all the work detail she puts in each and every one, each and every day. Buckeye is always one of my favorites and this one did not dissapoint, her cake is soft and fresh and the frosting and toppings on point! Whats up doc? a prefect carrot cake with an amazing cream cheese frosting, The hersey caramel, also so yummy, each one truely is baked to perfection, say cheese cherry with chocolate a perfect balance of tart fruity cherrys, rich chocolate and silky creamcheese, I’m drooling again… caramel macciato is sophisticated and delicious even for non coffee lovers, and vanilla coconut a light and refreshing treat after dusting of the box with my husband and son. It’s a shame I don’t live closer, they have so many different flavors, this really is the most innovative cupcake shop I have come accross, they should consider relocating to Columbus, as they beat any cupcake shop there by far!
