Mariposa County Fish & Game Protective Assoc

This small group of paid individuals and volunteers did the grunt ground work, when the fires were ravaging Mariposa, Oakhurst and very close to my Mom’s, Brother & Sister In-Law’s & Aunt & Uncles homes and more, these individuals helped with evacuations, getting citizens into safe lodging and more.
They are the unrecognized, unspoken of and sadly, the ones who lay their lives on the line every day to insure that wildlife and everything in Yosemite too is preserved, taken care of and, prevent the elements that would ruin the beauty of our national parks and more.
You safely made sure my Mom, the above stated and other citizens were taken care of, and I honor you now in this review for your altruism, courage and hard work, without you, the rest of the teams in place would be incomplete.
My Dad was on your team before he became ill & died, he was proud to serve with you and devote his time.
Our parks, citizens and wildlife and most of all the many kinds of vegetation appreciate what you do.
By enforcing the laws of Madera County, over fishing & hunting, even controlled burns, you make a difference.
Kudos & thanks, my Dad would be proud of you still, and I was so happy to meet each & every one of you, and thank you for your kind words after his death in January of 2011 along with a plaque honoring him for his service.
