I am a little bias. She is my sister and all.
Located off the beat and path in Markesan’s bypassed downtown in what looks like maybe a renovated pole barn style building. But the inside of this diner reminds me of the diners of the 50’s and 60’s.
Serves breakfast all day with lunch sandwiches and specials daily. All very reasonably priced.

This place is pretty awesome, but I wish the wait wasn’t so long. It’s also kind of annoying how huge groups of people always come from Wacholz funeral home to enjoy the «munchies» appetizer. I called in a Valentine’s Day reservation like 6 weeks ago, and I got the last one! Still, the food was soooo worth it. We started off with some cheese nuggets for appetizers, then moved on to the Foie gras for the main course.
Absolutely delightful experience. Can’t wait to go back.
PS the wait service will sing for you if it’s your birthday. They say it’s their favorite part about working there.
