Great company — can’t say enough good about them.
I had a water main leak in the front of my house that the water company couldn’t locate. They just told me to dig up the entire front of my house to find the leak or install a new water main (this would be wrecking concrete work that was less than a year old — so this is NOT something I wanted to do). I was hesitant to dig anything up because they wouldn’t guarantee that it would solve my problem, since they didn’t know where the leak actually was. I did some Googling to try and find other ways of solving this huge problem and stumbled on Atlantic Leak Detection. I called them to see if they could help me find the leak. They said they could come out with equipment that can locate the leak without having to destroy my property.
The owner himself (Todd) came out to my house — and he located the leak in about 90 minutes. The leak ended up being under my front lawn — which meant I didn’t have to dig up concrete that was less than a year old. Had I done what the water company wanted — it would have cost me a ton of money (probably $ 10k or more) — so having them come out saved me A LOT of money and a ton of headaches.
Atlantic Leak Detection’s prices seemed a bit high — because they were going to be charging me to just find the leak… and not actually fix it… but considering what I was facing otherwise — their price was well worth the risk — and I ended up spending less than 2k to fix everything — when it probably would have cost me $ 10k+ to do what the water company wanted me to do.
