Well, well, well. I finally went o Hobby Lobby, after hearing it’s a place I need to visit from friends and family. It’s a cool place, with good sales and all that. Everything we bought was 50% off, but was it really 50% off? Because now I hear if you wait a week, after stuff goes on sale for 50%, it then moves to the clearance section for less, which sounds pretty neat. I’d go back, but it’s not a bucket list if that’s what people think.

I love Hobby Lobby. They have everything, so much cute décor. You can spend hours there. The staff is so nice and helpful. As for the not selling Jewish merchandise, or not being open on Sunday, and the pro life stance, Michaels is also a Christian company, they sell a ton of Christmas merchandise very little for Hanukkah, and nothing for any other religions. They carry bible camp crafts in the summer, but because they’re not vocal about their stance people don’t have a problem with them. I worked at Michael’s for 3 years and it was awful, except for a few coworkers. Whether you agree with Hobby Lobby’s ideals and practices at least they’re open and honest about it and that’s not something many businesses are.

I love this store. I can spend an entire weekend at this store. It has everything a crafter/artist needs. Its only downfall is bc of its size its does not carry a big variety of specific brands on brushes, charcoal, paint etc. The prices are decent, not overpriced but as per normal you do need to know your prices. Employees actually know where things are in the store which is a bonus. Even, if you’re not a crafter there is something for everyone who want to begin crafting. They do close early and are closed on Sundays. Its not«Pearl» sigh by no means, or a.c. Moore or Michael’s but can find hard to find oddball stuff. They do have a decent fabric section and an okay jewelry making section. Sales aren’t as good as other arts n crafts stores but its still a cool place to check out.

Took my wife here… she wanted to make a nice wreath for the front door and this place is closed on Sundays? Don’t think this is a smart move, most people do their shopping on Sundays after working a long hard week. I’ll stick with my «michaels».

There seems to be a lot of commotion about this tore, but for all the wrong reason. I’ve been here and as a store, they have a huge variety of merchandise and if you catch one of the sales you can get a pretty good deal. Now I hear all the complaints about them not selling any holiday merchandise pertaining to the Jewish faith. OK, is this America??? The owner chose not to sell it. He chose to remain closed on Sundays as a symbol of his Christian faith. Those are his choices and he is entitled to them. I grew up next to one of the largest Hasidic communities in this country. Do you think I could walk into Teitelbaums and buy a Nativity Set??? NOOOOOOOOO!!! Am I offended by this? Not in the least! Get off your high horses and calm yourselves down. Now comes where I rip the owner. In just another case of hypocritical religious values, he chose to exemplify his Christian faith by not carrying anything pertaining to other religions. He also chose to remain closed on Sundays. Funny how Mr «Christian» also chose to bring in tradesmen from out of this area to build his store, thereby undermining the economy of this area! He brought in lower paid workers, instead of using local labor to build hi store. The very people he expects to shop there, he decided to spit in their faces! Seems that like all religious hypocrites, money is always the bottom line of their faith!

Definitely not the place to go — hear from multiple people that the owner won’t carry items that represent other cultures.
