So yes this is a convenient store and why would one choose to write a review on a 7-Eleven. Ok so it’s usually with fear in my heart and a hand on my wallet at all times that I go to this location. OK so there is quite the cast of characters that hang out here and the location is less then desireable(Broad St. does not have the best reputation although there is a Police sub station across the street which is kinda reassuring). The owners are friendly and will unlock the doors at night to let you in to buy that desired item(this in and of itself is kinda disarming). So I’m usually focused on making my purchase and getting out asap but what I’ve noticed is well a convenient store. It’s not organized or clean and DONOT buy anything that isn’t packaged or well sealed. Always check your dates on anything… milk that is outdated by almost 2 weeks and being told the night staff are supposed to check that. Apparently they hadn’t checked expiration dates in weeks. The owners are hard working and this location is what it is. … A convenient store in an economically depressed section of town. it’s been around for years and a staple in the french hill neighborhood. There are elderly and disabled– Academy Knoll being down the road who benefit from access to a small convenient store. I also cannot resist an occasional scratch ticket or powerball ticket… one can dream
