They rescheduled my appt without my knowledge after confirming my appt both by email and phone. I showed up and while filling out paperwork was told my appt wasn’t until almost 10 days later… I felt like an idiot so I left. I just checked my email and sure enough they just decided to move my appt the day of. Only decided to tell me that by email this time, there was no phone call. Don’t waste your time.

Loud shout-out to fantastic customer service by Matt, the optician at LensCrafters. He made sure my progressives fit perfectly and because there was a mix-up that made my glasses come in two weeks late, he offered me a second pair for FREE!!! Thank you LensCrafters and Matt!

This review is solely for the optician located at this LensCrafters location(Jewell Eye Associates). I have frequented an optician at another LensCrafters location for many years and loved them. I recently moved to the area and decided to give this(Jewell Eye) optometrist a try. I scheduled my appointment online a few weeks in advanced(about 3 weeks, I needed an after work hours appointment, so I had to wait). After scheduling my appointment, someone from their office called to confirm and asked for my insurance info so that I would be all set for my appointment. The day for my appointment came and the place was ok. Not as clean or organized as the other place I had gone to but it was decent. The guy who checked me in, informed that they couldn’t verify my appointment as it was after work hours and my insurance was now close and due to this I had to pay for my visit up front. I told him how I had given my info before but didn’t put up much of a fight and paid for my visit. He then went on to tell me that once verified I would get reimbursed. Fine! This was in August. A few weeks went by and I called the office for an update on my reimbursement, someone told me that it would take 3 – 6 weeks but not to worry. I called back in December and someone told me that it’s not 3 – 6 weeks, that it could take 6 – 12 weeks. I said OK and hung up. I went on my insurances website and discovered that they had paid for my visit in September and Jewel Eye had cashed the check that same month. I called back right away and demanded to speak to a supervisor, she gave me the run-around and once I mentioned that I would contact the BBB she right away«magically» found my reimbursement paperwork and was going to mail me a check instantly. Three weeks went by and no check. I finally called and told them that I would be filing a complaint through the ethics committee because what they were doing was illegal(they were double dipping-I had paid for my visit and so had my insurance, it’s fraudulent activity) and low and behold 2 days later a check came in the mail(with a date of 02⁄19) I think that they only decided to reimburse me because I put up a fight, usually people forget about things like this. Please save yourself the trouble and avoid this place.

The frames i got here 7 years ago are excellent. They lasted a long time and were of good quality. I recommend lens crafters. Dr. Jewell is a great optometrist, she provided great service at a competitive price. She’s quite knowledgeable and very precise with her work. Thanks!

Brought in 2 pairs of glasses for repair. One I purchased at LensCrafters and one 17 yr old pair of sunglasses(yes 17 yrs old) purchased elsewhere. They fixed both in about an hour and didn’t change anything.
