Monadnock Real Log Homes

This company is the real deal! As an owner of a 70’s era log home located remote from major urban areas, it has been virtually impossible to find a professional, reliable contractor. Over the years I’ve had to scratch and claw to get hired contractors to provide a proper contract, keep to their commitments and generally behave in a manner befitting their high dollar costs. I’m not a naïve home owner and know that complications and scheduling conflicts do arise, but that’s what a phone is for… communication. Not once did I encounter any issues with Gary or his crew Justin and Chad. If anything, they all acted as true engineers from the specification and contract process to the execution. I will be relying on this awesome group of guys over the coming years to do all of my house improvements and upgrades. The work they performed was flawless, performed with integrity and attention to detail. The work they performed was the addition of two HUGE picture windows in my living room, plus replacement of four other windows around the house. During the initial survey, Gary and Justin took measurements and got an understanding of what I wanted to accomplish. They offered excellent design advice and made suggestions to achieve my objective. Then, they committed everything to a specification and contract; no detail was left out! They first ensured that the work they intended to perform would not compromise the structural integrity of the wall where the picture windows would be installed by adding two large stiffening beams to the wall to prevent the wall from bowing. Subsequently they installed the windows, insulated and trimmed them out. The transformation of our living room is INCREDIBLE!
These guys are the example I wish all contractors followed. If you need a contractor, especially if you own or want to own a log home, then hire those guys… you will not be disappointed!
