I took my Stratocaster there for a setup and they did a great job, I also had them replace the saddle with a graphite one, very happy with the work. My son has been taking piano lessons too, great teachers. The owner Jim is also very knowledgeable about vintage guitars, great guy!

Mr. C’s is a local pad, with minor licensing agreements but specializing in used or refurbished guitars and equipment. Their staff are hit or miss, but Chris is exceptional in his knowledge and precision with nearly any instrument. Every bit of the floor may be littered with instruments from drums to guitars to harmonicas(in any key Bob Dylan). The quality in comparison to a Guitar Center is laughable, but that’s not what has kept these doors open for so many years. Whether it’s a broken pickup, warped neck, or any other issue with my guitars, a quick call to Chris makes me feel lika regular Joe Strummer.

took a guitar there for a repair, and they told me it would be $ 50.00 when I went to pick it up they told me the bridge broke and they replaced and the cost would be $ 150.00. The guitar was only worth $ 50.00 and they could have called me and asked me. i could have bought a new guitar for that price! I have never heard of a company not calling you and getting your permission before fixing something. $ 150.00 to save face and get my son his guitar.
