This place has a full concession, but an awkward lobby and set up for the rink. You walk in and the smell is horrible because the players have to walk through the lobby to get to the locker room. Immediately after exiting the lobby area, you run right into the players in their boxes. The rink is overall small, and smells pretty bad. It’s hockey so you expect that, I just feel bad for the figure skaters that have to smell the place. It’s also pretty darn cold in there so I question whether their heating works very well since most rinks do a good job to regulate the temperature.

I feel bad giving this place one star. It has long been the hockey stand-by. I learned to skate here 20 years ago. But the nuances that children don’t pick up on are slowly making themselves much clearer. The ice is terrible. From constant refrigeration issues to haphazard lines that look like the artistry of a strung out nihilist, there is nothing redeeming about stepping onto the surface. Very few times do I use the word«curmudgeon,» but now is the most aptly appointed description of the pro-shop workers. Upside? Clean locker rooms.
