The surprising thing about this place is that it is Halal according to Zabihah website. I asked the guy who was giving out samples and he confirmed and showed a small card which said that they serve halal poultry and rest of the staff confirmed it verbally as well. So if you are looking for halal food in a mall food court this place deserves definitely a 4 star since this is the only halal option available. The bang bang chicken reminded me general tso chicken from long island, NY. The food is greasy and some items are very sweet while others are spicy. Overall its a good choice to try occasionally. The staff was nice, i didnt find anyone rude or with an attitude. The food itself can definitely use some improvement in taste and reducing the greasiness will be a big plus too. Oh yes, this is really americanized thai, its no where close to the real thing, so if you are going in expecting its going to be close to real thai food then you will be disappointed. I would say its more sweeter and spicier version of american Chinese food.

Should have been suspicious about thai food at mall court but was so excited that got my hopes up. Oddly enough pad thai was not part of regular menu out on display but did special order for me so took a while. Didn’t taste like pad thai – more chinese style. Won’t come back.

The food was good overall, but somethings were dry such as the crab ragoon. Its also not authentic Thai food, so I don’t know why they call it Ruby Thai…

Purely adequate food court fare. Nice touch– they make soup. Beats the hell out of Burger King.

Is it lame to review a mall food court restaurant? Yeah, probably… ok, definitely, but do I care? Not really, as I think the masses deserve to know that a Whopper from Burger King two steps down probably has more curry flavor than the curried chicken I got here today. Blech. The mango chicken, however, was a sweet treat. Didn’t scream authentic Thai to me in any way(surprise, surprise), but as the man handing out the free samples said, it was«yummy yummy»!
