They deserve more than a three, but not quite a four. They have GREATDINER food, but the service is hit and miss. Used to go regularly, but the last few times … I have had crappy service. From being out and out ignored, or ordering and the entire diner(including people that came in ½ hour after us) getting their food first. I haven’t been back in months — which is a shame because they have a great breakfast and lunch menu

I love local places that reflect the town I’m visiting. A local diner is usually one of my favorites. But I cannot recommend the Main Street Grill based on my visit. The place needs a serious cleaning, and needs to get the flies under control. The food for 4 took a long time to arrive(despite the place being almost empty) and when it did mine was cold. I opted for simple hot cakes for dinner(thank god), which were tough(how does that even happen?). It could be a nice little place, but it seems like nobody is bothering to even try.

9am on Sunday. Good service. Eggs great. French toast like everywhere else good. Bacon tasted precooked. Ham and link sausage was excellent. Shredded potatoes were under cooked so if you like them crispy make sure you ask. Small town feel with a lot of regulars. About $ 14 with 2 breakfast platters and a soda. Quick and good place to stop on a long trip back to Cincinnati Ohio.

Stopped here on a road trip. Got here at 11am. Place had only a few people in it, not loud or crowded. Typical diner food, large menu, lots of options. Shared the grilled chicken salad, a coney dog, french fries. The salad had iceberg lettuce and the grilled chicken on top had a lot of flavor. Coffee was the usual, but thankfully not burned or too acidic. Would have given a higher rating but felt a little bit like an inconvenience to our waitress. I get it – we are clearly out of towners, and my companion tends to be conspicuous, unfortunately. But still, I’ll give you a great tip if you’re filling up my coffee before I have to chase you down only to get the stink eye for asking. Have never been to Marlette before but it’s a cute little town and I’d still support this place before going to a chain elsewhere along 53.

Very nice, small, homey place. Good food every time we’ve eaten here. We have ordered breakfast, lunch and dinner over the past 6 years & haven’t been disappointed in the quality of the food or the service.

A typical small town diner — a modest number of tables along with a counter, all in full view of the grill. Every time we’ve stopped there the food had been good and the coffee hot. Good portions for modest prices, friendly service.
