Save the time and trouble and don’t go to this store! I had the misfortune of going here today to pick up a specific brand of shampoo that I loved and since I was in the store, I decided to peruse the store for other cosmetics. Add to that I had my toddler daughter in tow and all I got back was attitude. I wanted to ask the sales lady what product I could use to help my oily skin in the summer and she was rude and snooty. Like a previous review said, the salespeople treat you like you can’t afford any of the cosmetics they carry. Just because someone is dressed in jeans and t-shirt, trying to control an antsy toddler doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t have money to spend. I urge the employees don’t be so quick to judge a book by its cover. She even rolled her eyes at me because I decided not to buy a $ 235 serum without trying a sample first(who would buy that without trying it out first?). Bottom line, go to Nordstrom or Sephora where the sales ladies are much more helpful, nicer and patient.

Blue Mercury is close by so I occasionally shop there and they carry the brands of make up that I use. The retail personnel is a bit rude and never offer any samples.

I went here last weekend. My friend was looking for red lipstick. We were greeted at the door by this arrogant sales lady. I told my friend I liked my Bobbi Brown red lipstick. This confused lady thought I was speaking to her and with an attitude said, «We don’t carry that here at Bluemercury.» While she was«helping» us she showed my friend shades of pink lipsticks instead of red. Horrible service but putting that aside the store has a small selection. Save yourself the time and trouble and go else where!

OMG, one of the reviews remark on «remember the movie Pretty Women?» Was absolutely right. I was there for Christmas shopping for my friends, well yes I didn’t dressed up for upscale shopping(?), was in my jeans and hoods with my daughter. Initially, no one approached us offering any help, soI had to ask a sales lady. I picked up a hand cream and she was holding it for me at the counter while I was looking more. Then I decided to change the hand cream with another gift set(which was more expensive though, haha) and the lady asked«what about this?(shaking the hand cream)?» and gave me the rolling eyes right in front of me. Wow, what a great attitude! While we were looking other stuff she or anybody else in the store didn’t ask us anything… invisible? Then there was a well dressed(with makeup on) woman walked in, looking for some fragrant item(she was loud and full of expression… oh maybe I was too quiet.) couple of sales women flocked to her try to explain whole deal. I felt so awkward so I decided to shorten our shopping. When I was paying, I had to remind the rude lady AGAIN it was a present for a friend because she was stuffing it in a bag even without tissue paper. After I asked her to make it look little nicer, she brought out a small bag with some paper strings in it but it was too small for my stuff. You know what she did? She pushed it down so corner of the gift box was ruined but she didn’t say anything and handed to me(still no tissue paper, lol) I was speechless and we zoomed out. I am not going back there ever again. I love shopping and my daughter started to wear makeups so we could been the big spenders. I should say to them“Big mistake!”, right? It was a horrible experience. If any of you still wants to try the shop, please dress up and wear lots of jewelry. And for the store manager, please train your personnel, and teach them proper manners.

I stopped by here looking for a specific hair care brand and item, hoping they would carry that line since it was high end. All I got was attitude, an hair evaluation that was way off the mark, and even though I ended up getting one item, was made to feel like I did not belong there. Remember Pretty Woman? Just because I do not look like a lot of money, doesn’t mean I don’t have it to spend. Head to Image Beauty across the street. Much better attitude there.

I still love this place, but because its on smaller scale, they ran out of certain items, the sales person, said, OH, let me take your name & # down, so when it comes in, call you. That NEVER happened. Ashame., since economy hurting, guess they make money in spa area, don’t worry bout customer service –or return customers. That put damper on how I view the place, less likely to return, unless getting per fum, but makeup, listick… go to City line ave.
