We stopped by for one specific item while on vacation. The place was cluttered and not particularly clean, but they had what we wanted. The staff was not very friendly, but when directly asked for help it was offered. I wouldn’t come back generally, but there was nothing that would keep me from coming back if there was something I needed from there.

Prices are good — if they charge you the right price. I regularly get overcharged and the cashiers are very nasty about correcting their errors. You really have to get the manager involved. My latest incident was I was charged for vidalia onions instead or regular yellow onions. The cashier insisted the onions were vidalia. After the manager was called out — turns out they don’t even carry vidalia onions now(off-season). This is typical. If you don’t have time to audit your receipts and get the manager involved — don’t shop here.

Usually I find good extra discounted meats on Thursdays! With a family of 5 saving every cent where we can helps! We shop at bottom dollar because they offer great prices on our family grocery staple. You do have to bring your own bags but they have some for purchase or even empty stock boxes you can use. They have a rewards program as well and offer Bottom dollar bucks on your next purchase if you spend a certain amount. The produce and meat have always been fresh and good quality. The store is small and the selection is limited but this is probably why the prices are very reasonable. I can get a national name brand frozen pizza for $ 5.49 here whereas at Shop-Rite or Acme the same pizza will cost me $ 7.99. The staff here is friendly and there is plenty of parking. The store has been clean when we have shopped and always stocked.

Great prices but absolutely horrible customer service, the employees don’t even act like they want their jobs and act like your an inconvenience to them. They really should consider hiring an entire new team…

Whether or not you’re on a budget, there’s no reason to waste money on groceries. I would suggest stopping here at least once to check it out and get a food feel for how much you can save on essentials, because this store is absolutely«no frills.» It is VERY clean and the staff is VERY friendly. Its a «bag your own» place like Aldi, so bring your reuseable bags, or purchase plastic bags there 5 for 25 cents. The bags are sturdy and I love how they are thick enough for reuse in my home. I would venture to say that since this store has opened, I have saved hundreds upon hundreds of dollars on my essentials such as cereals/bread/milk/eggs/produce/frozen vegetables. This is the place to go to stock up on all of your essentials. I come to this store maybe twice a month. The last trip was a total of SEVEN bags of groceries for about $ 50. There is NO beating their prices. They have a very nice produce section that is a big walk in cooler type room. Their meat section leaves a lot to be desired(not in quality, but in variety. The cuts of meat are very thin, but appropriately priced), but hey, it’s a discount grocery store. They have frozen fish that’s very good, and their frozen food section is quite nice. All in all this is a «you can’t pass it up» place to shop. Swallow your pride and skip the«big box» to make a stop here!
