I called and made an appointment with them last week. I was very happy with the Unilocal reviews, and very happy I was able to get an appointment fairly quickly. When I was asked what insurance I have, I told them it was through Horizon. I was then told, it couldn’t be through Horizon, because they were a medical insurance, and was probably through a different company. It took a few days to get confirmation because I had to go through HR. When I called back with confirmation that it was through them, I was then told that they are not part of Horizon. Not being able to bill them, and not being a part of their network are 2 very different things. I had to rearrange my work schedule, and childcare for the appointment, and then had to cancel. I am very disappointed that this was not told to me at the time I called. I would not recommend them to anyone as they are not clear on what types of insurance they take and do not take.

I first came to this shop many years ago and even though I’ve moved out of the area, I’m still back every few years with my mom picking out new frames for her. They have always had the best selection and unbeatable prices. Plus the service is friendly, straightforward, and competent. I just brought in my husband for a new pair and it was well worth the trip. I highly recommend.

I have been coming here since 1995 and love the service of Dr moskowitz and his staff provide. Always competitive in price.
